Beyond Insanity?

You don’t have to stumble upon atlas passes now. You can get them ALL by finding manufacturing plants and blowing the bleeding doors off.

That’s what I meant by stumble upon. That way when the space cops come calling I have a good excuse.

Sorry officer, I just stumbled through these doors and tried to fix their computer, how was I to know I was breaking and entering? I was trying to shoot a bad person and its not my fault your doors can only take like, 60 misfired shots from my boltcaster. What’s an atlas pass? Never heard of su-hey! Hey let go of me! I thought this was America! I know my rights!!

(I don’t know how I still got arrested in my own fantasy excuse that was supposed to get me off the hook)

Ha, I’ve been doing this in VR  I smash open the doors, run inside, and then stand by a desk pretending to tap away at a tablet on the table. Look over my shoulder, “Oh, hello officers. Can I help? Alarm going off? Oh, so it is. Sorry, too busy to notice. Well, let me know if you find them”

It seems to be a glitch. It happens when ships come in to land but it seems to get stuck ‘on’. It is nice when it works correctly because you know someone is landing.

Lol.

If anytime, they made it way too easy.

Never having to recharge your ships fuel.

Thousands of mats per stack.

Personal transporters.

There is no challenge at all. Its a joke.

They totally dumbed the game down because people that are bad at the game were whining too much.

I’ve played since day #1 and I’ve died 3x in hundreds of hours of play.

How can you die in the beginning?

There’s plenty of sodium etc around. ts a tutorial.

It’s impossible to die unless you literally just stand there.

then you have been lucky.
Some have spawn on extreme worlds and before getting to sodium they died.
I have had to restart too many time to count because there was no sodium.
The game is fun and enjoyable because what you can do.
The complexity is not needed.
This game was cool, I could fly and not worry about destroying my ship, on cruise control.
Now, what a joke, flying in space and you stop, dead stop. That to me is BS!
But of course we whom make bones of such things are

This game was never pass as a survival, die alot, but to explore.
There are people whom have permanently quit playing this game due to the complexity and stress it now produces.

Just go done with telling Atlas, he’s crazy. lol
with 18,000,000,000,000,000,000,000+ more planets to discover tis why I play.
Story line is secondary, just something to get in the way of exploring.

This tells me you’re playing in normal mode, because in survival the old caps (250 for a normal stack) are still in place. Since survival is the mode intended for people that want the game to be challenging, you should try that.
Granted, it’s still no dark souls by any means. But being totally unprepared and careless can easily kill you.

Uhm no, I would strongly disagree with that, actually. The game as originally released was extremely easy, what with new technology being practically thrown at you and all things being powerable by either carbon or zinc, which were lying around in abundance.
I’ve been playing survival mode exclusively since it came out (plus an occasional creative session to prototype buildings), and it has made the game quite a lot more enjoyable for me when compared to the original release.

Want harder?
Permadeath with standard multi tool & ship with no upgrades (beyond what the game forces you to have).
Should keep you occupied.

Insanity Insanity
Yes it exist!
NO I AM NOT GOING THROUGH THE F****** QUEST SYSTEM AGAIN!

I was rebuilding the Capital Base for the Rim Systems.
Went to plant and found out the blueprints/ability to plant to harvest is gone.
So much for this Insane BS!

Oh how I feel your pain!

IF I remember correctly you can purchase the farm stuff from the Anomaly using Salvaged tech.

That is where I got mine because I really dislike having to do the base quests again!

The only reason I did the farmer was in the hopes he would give me the Save Point, which it turned out I got from the computer archives after all. :stuck_out_tongue:

I sometimes think that if it wasn’t for the community, the game would be unplayable.

We love this game like it’s an abusive lover. It is so beautiful and magical and full of promise that we continue to live with its horrendous faults. :broken_heart:

At least HG is working on resolving the issues it can solve. Kudos for that.

Glad you got your plantings working!

Hello Travellers!

I recently visited my old ETARC System, to find some comm stations of you guys, however they are all inside the planets, deeper then you can go or in space, this makes me furious and sad at the same time.
But still im happy they are there

To also add: Its Insane that my stupid specialists fall trough any floor! All terminals are not manned, this is mad!
Also that you can place a large refiner indoors and it blocks stuff on the next floor.

Also my systems vanished but for the good. I have lovely spaceships now.

Still lovin the game from day 1

I have a thought. Maybe we have driven HG insane. Now it is spilling over into the game.
