I am having a recurring problem where I go into the build menu and whatever I try to build just passes through everything, including the ground. Since it isn’t touching anything it returns a steady ‘can’t build, illegal position’ message. It isn’t every time, more like ‘frequent enough to be really annoying, but infrequent enough that I can’t really isolate what conditions are unique when it happens from when it doesn’t,’ which is annoying in itself.
Reported to ZenDesk. As a side note, when Zendesk asks “are there any files HG might need?” the options are basically yes/no. There needs to be a “Lord I hope not cuz I don’t have any” option…
This annoying bug has been present since worlds pt 2, I feel your mild irritation
It also effects exocraft summoning too. I’ve been trying to keep track of what is triggering it, I feel I went a long time without it happening there for a while and then recently it’s been re-ocurring again.
Closing the game down seems to fix it but it is pretty annoying alright.
Yeah there really should be a step by step guide for how to find your file.
However, if HG determines they need a file from you, they will email you and give you the step by step directions for finding it. I have had them contact me several times for this.
