Atlas Rises Patch 1.31

I’m running a S hauler. It kicks azz. Had to learn to dog fight all over again.
Still searching for information to out fit my new Exotic ship.
Those seem to be easy to find. Stats are crazy.
A regular S ship still not east to find. lol

Thanks PackRat, yes I checked the log and after deletion of the rest of my
base, was then able to get as far as being asked to find Plutonium from my
lone remaining Gek but unable to progress beyond that. So, since it’s
reported I am currently out in space pursuing other aspects of the game,
loving all that aside from dogfights, they never were my thing even though
they weren’t a problem if I was actually forced into a fight…

…which brings me onto, yes, space combat wow indeed. I am still in
rebellion against the options. I have not yet gotten my head around either
A) paying someone not to attack me or B) saying please come help me for I
am incapable …a bit like real life terrible as I am at asking for help no
matter how much I might try and flail all by myself!

(A fellow CS of mine did have help randomly appear without asking a couple
of times but that didn’t happen for me when being fired at from five
different angles, was a drama that left me light-headed, though no less
determined…to avoid them, haha)

That’s odd, I ran into some frustration with the base quests, but aside from the kill 3 Sentinal star ships, I’ve been able to progress them all with some trial and error.

On a fighting note, I found my, pre 1.3, class B minimally armed scout ship performed better in battle than my pre 1.3 S class fighter fully loaded. Could just be the opponent level (3 Pirates versus the Sentinals) was weaker overall, but I found it amusing that after the initial terror of “OH NO, ANOTHER SPACE COMBAT” passed I actually managed to defeat them. That being said I’m slowly upgrading to post 1.3 ships, but my 34M back account is dropping fast. Guess I’ll have to suck it up and do some farming for crafting expensive items.

This is where I wish I could save PS4 games on the side and come back to them as I’d like to try starting over, but if I do, it’s for good. No going back.

Odd, I know. A workaround has been successful for quite a few who experienced this, I’ve just been one of the small few left who it didn’t work for…however, patch 1.32 may just have solved it, excited to check it out! I am told that I may simply need to relocate to a nearby planet then relocate back to this one again and all may be well. If not, I will still happily wait and follow one of many other paths in the meantime. I did consider a re-start, then realised I’m definitely not ready to send my long-standing game through a black-hole forever, without me. I cannot part with Mr Blue Sky - that’s my ship - we’ve been through too much together so I would rather one day buy a partner-ship, rather than say goodbye…so, off to discover what is new, woohoo :rocket:
