Whatever “promise” is, it is not unique to atlas… javascript - Promise callbacks returning promises - Stack Overflow

Also in the same file (html2canvas.js) there is a hardcoded file

data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

And there is a GOD in there. An Old god? Atlas? Something else? Or just a coincidence? Hmm

The image looks like a white dot. Same dots are called snow-flakes on main Atlas site - you can see them falling when you grab the pages and move them around.

Changing base64 to base128 enlarges the image, but still I don’t see a thing there…

The .promise() method returns a dynamically generated Promise that is resolved once all actions of a certain type bound to the collection, queued or not, have ended.

it’s not a “promise” that we think of in everyday parlance (I promise to give this back to you). it’s an actual js function.

I see. Cool name though.

So, false alarm

Plans within plans. Maybe a false alarm. Maybe not…

so it looks like the contact form either displays in 3d space or also swoops in. When you select it:

And check out the submit button:

Im digging into the scripts.js file now

if you go to http://www.atlas-65.com/js/ you can see the form

“…Right now we’re conducting research in the fields of artificial and distributed intelligence, simulated worlds, and metaphysical analysis.”

So it basically confirms they (Elizabeth and her team) created Atlas (artificial and distributed intelligence) as an experiment / for research…

P.S It’s 1AM for me in Poland and I’m dead tired (had a busy day)… So, as usual I will be sleeping when you solve another puzzle :sob: Quite a bummer, but… Wish you all luck. Have fun!

The countdown is likely this simple jQuery plugin, called downCount:

To keep the email addresses from being harvested by bots. A simple page scraper won’t parse javascript to decode the address.

Correct, I had hoped it would decode to another email address but no dice…

Just using a text only browser (lynx in my case) gives:

Contacts
Currently the Atlas Foundation is not accepting press requests, and recruitment is by invitation only.
    * [email protected]

So, it just shows the text in the span tag there, instead of what it gets replaced with. But I can see everything laid out nicely without needing to add a ‘/’ at the end. =)

Project-WT is glitching as well

Could be for the person that gets selected for the next drop or package delivery??

Numbers like 1499465858 are just epoch times in seconds. It’s the seconds since Jan 1st, 1970. It’s just a standardized way for computers to tell the time.

1499465858, which is what I get now, is UTC Fri Jul 07 2017 22:17:38. Probably just the last time they updated the site.

So we even have snow falling sideways, fun!

Forgive me if it’s been mentioned…

But the Xinxing Hotel in Beijing is visible in the background image of the ‘About’ page if that’s of any use.
And there appears to be Chinese lettering on the road in the image on the ‘Contact us’ page.

Also, the main page image is actually a panorama that’s mirrored to double its height.

Double clicking in that area likely selected the whole page. You can do the same thing with CTRL + A

Probably nothing but one of the embedded images in the “glitch” looks suspiciously like a qr code of sorts.

Edit: the more I stare at the updated images over the timeline, the more I think these are just randomly generated… I can’t find another image being sent that matches the above.
