I don’t understand how you know which end to fold from. Do the squiggly lines on it make an image or something? Maybe on the back?

Sorry. I am no help here. I actually do origami from time to time but, I don’t understand these directions.
If I throw away the instructions I can make the 3rd one look like this…I am getting fairly hysterical at this point…

This is what I got for the 2nd one, I’m pretty sure I did the first one wrong. I was able to fold this one “inside-out” like a flexagon (which I didn’t do for the 1st)
as in the Bible translator? I give up.
I do think the squiggly lines should line up on the back as a guide, to let you know if you did it right or not.

Going clockwise around each flexagon from 978 gave those numbers from Sheralmyst’s posts. Then folding each flexagon gave another three numbers which referred to a specific page/line/word. Together those gave the answer Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, solving puzzle Echo.
