Hi @JurassicGergo: I have edited your topic category to the current one we use for No Man’s Sky.
Looks interesting for sure. I will have to check it out when I get a bit more time considering all the ‘buzz’ we’ve been getting over here recently. Thank you for sharing this and starting the discussion.
Now literal buzz I suppose (sorry, couldn’t help it)
Re the website:
Yeah … I have over a decade of accessibility analysis and remediation experience. ![]()
“Yeah … I have over a decade of accessibility analysis and remediation experience.
” I believe you and your help is much appreciated, buuuuutttt…
I tried to add a gray rectangle behind the title, but it looks so ugly to me (and no, I can’t make the rectangle translucent/transparent, that’s literally not an option in the text-edit of Google Sites(or I’m missing something?))
“Change text alignment to left align. Centered text drags down reading speed by as much as 15%.” not exactly sure what you refer to here, when I applied this to the title it didn’t change anything for me, and body text is looks weird to me.
nice, you found it. My only question is that you found the hidden link at the top or the bottom of the ‘The Perspective’ page? (because there is technically two ways to get there)
(and in the case if you are wondering: no, this has nothing to do with Project Skyscraper, this is not an ARG)
Sorry for the late reply.
I found the link at the bottom of a page on a ‘kzzt’ link.
A lot of hard work went into this site. I’m not sure what you can add to your latest reply. Honestly, it’s already so detailed I don’t think you need to add much more.
Great work all around!
No worries, I also tend to reply late, so you are good ![]()

“I found the link at the bottom of a page on a ‘kzzt’ link.”
Yeah, that checks out, it was the more obvious one anyway(That link specifically was made to direct to a page that is an obvious reference to Project Skycraper and the potential in-universe ramifications it may have. But besides that, it is not part of the actual ARG).
The intended link to the ‘A.R.N.M.S leaks’ site was on the top of the ‘The Perspective’ page of the main site, more specifically, the first red-colored k on the 2nd line of the page.

I see, well thanks I guess, I was just unsure if I could add something else 'Uses, Products, Exploitation & Importance ’ section of the animals profile
It is now done, I’m infinitely grateful for your help guys (although you would not be able to tell that from my face lol). I hope what I made from the information you guys helped me gather will deliver (and I realy hope you guys can actually read this).
Yes it’s readable! You’ve definitely woven together some interesting stories - and all the details are great! Will you be working on filling more of your site next? (Just asking because I am curious about the process! It’s all interesting stuff you’re putting together!)
The explorer guild probably will ask for a copy of your survey ![]()
@Leeka , Studies of reading speed and comprehension in Western readers show that our speed of reading words slows down by up to 15% when any of the below apply:
Western readers’ brains are conditioned to expect a new line of text to appear at left, not centered or further right. So we “force” our brains to slow down and cope with any nonstandard alignment. Vertical or slanted text makes reading much slower.
So if we want our communication to be easy to read quickly, we need to use “flush left” text and avoid a large amount of bold or italics.
I hope this clarifies what I meant.
I wonder why in some newspaper (mainly older, archived ones in my experience, I live in France), body text was all italic.
This does clarify what you meant, but not why you mentioned me in your reply
(was just for the joke, sorry).
thanks for unarchiving it sheralmyst, that’s much appreciated
Hi everyone!
So I have good news and bad news relating to my project, specifically the Exandac’s page
Good News: the Exandac’s page is 99.5% complete
Bad News: the Field Journal images are not coming out great when scanned…
So as much as I hate to say it. The publication of the Exandac’s page has to be delayed. I hope you all understand.
Have a nice day/night!
