Whatever you’ve been smoking, can I have some?

I have to admit, though… It would be an interesting game mechanic. Learning advanced crafting recipes by brewing and drinking wild potions, requiring rare ingredients that send to to exotic, distant locations to collect… Now that I’m thinking about it, I have to wonder why noone ever did it. Maybe because it might get an R-rating slapped on it…

No.

you have to go to the re-education tent FIRST, then when your thoughts have been purged, the grand dutchy will be passed to thine left hand side.

They could sanitise it though. Just have it be an Autophage Shaman using nanites to have vision trips, what drugs? This is lore accurate, nanites hold memories, they are the simulation, etc…

Then again they didn’t even bother sanitising NipNip Buds and I think the in game description for those is “damp and pungent” or something.

Is the game still PEGI-7/ESRB Teen? The latter can stay the same but pegi-7 might need a revisit XD

I saw predator 2 when I was 7 so I have no idea how sheltered or not kids are these days with access to the frickin internet. I just got lucky with VHS roulette that day.

I noticed the pump was smoking odd but I thought it was just sort of a bit of humour suggesting the pump was working really hard or on its way out & about to blow any second.

I like the smoke. It’s a nice effect when down in the center junction of the exterior walkways on a freighter.

I would like to have a steam/smoke base part that I could place at some appropriate place without having to figure out how to hide the geometry. The same for fire without an attached barrel.

Yes. A plume would be nice

Planet Coaster has a selection of placeable animated fountain effects - a jet of water, and the surrounding splash. You can put them wherever you like. If you angle a bunch of them down a steep slope, they make a convincing waterfall.

It’s the sort of thing that’s simple, cheap on resource, and very effective.

Planet Zoo uses them as well. Throw in a few boulders, tuck in a few plants and it’s very nice.

I promptly misread that first word, and got very, very confused… :man_facepalming:

Forgot to space after the comma…

Frigates need running lights

At least they now properly highlight the ones that need repair. There was a time when the only way to identify a damaged frigate was to approach and interrogate every ship in the fleet.

I keep forgetting we also now have a handy feature to teleport to the frigates instead of flying over to them.

I need to work more frigate missions. Mine never return with any damage
I still want them to be actually staffed

That’s because you’re managing them conservatively - you’re obviously a caring employer. Try sending a few two-star frigate fleets on four-star combat missions. Try sending a group of three class C trade ships on a combat mission - I guarantee they’ll come back damaged - if they come back at all.

“Bring 'em up tough!
By jove you’ll earn that ‘S’ class rating or die trying, but let it be known not a damn frigate in my fleet got there by being soft”

Paraphrasing may have been used in this post. Actual likness to Travellers real or fictional is purely coincidental. Almost no Geks were harmed in the process
