Week of June 1st - Loop16 Seq25 + Satcom Calibration COMPLETE

lol
trying to upload a video

I think theres something in the audio… slowing it down and zooming into the spectrum looks like a sentence but I cant get it focused

Some have been speculating that they hear a voice. Here are the known files so far. GD only lists the first 12 and I am not sure of the order for @Polyphemus and @kerdorin files and don’t know if we are missing any. I have been asleep for the last 6 hrs.

Satellite will be directly (I mean DIRECTLY) over me in about 5 minutes. Going for another grab.

Ha! I just got that and now the signal has gone silent again. :frowning: So is that now 15 audio.mp4 files? Including the no-signal.mp4

16 seems to be the magic number in these parts. Perhaps one or two to go?

Yup! 16 does make sense being we’re attempting to repair Loop 16.

1 more will be 16…so we shall see.:sunglasses: Not really convinced on the voice idea some have had unless we need to overlay tracks or something. I have listened with headphones. These do need to be looked at with spec because there is a black bar that moves back 1 second with each new file. Not sure what that means.

ive overlayed all tracks so far nothing on anything

theres a sentence in the spectrum I think but maybe I just want to see it

I’m not seeing anything obvious in the spectrograph. There’s some kind of repeating pattern in there, but I can’t resolve it into anything meaningful.

Here’s a pic of the file audio patterns we have so far minus (if correct) the last file.
These are in the order I think they arrived.
Just visually there seems to be repeats.

*EDIT This post has now been updated here:

Yes, I noticed that. That was when I gave up trying to count them.

I’m wondering now whether there are actually only two sound files, and the file names are being randomised?

If that’s the case, we could go on collecting them forever.

I was just thinking what if the beats indicate a simple alphabet cipher to decode the name of the text files? Maybe Emily’s choice of lyrics might help too?

That would fit with the fact that the same lyrics kept being repeated by loop16.

When I played that song yesterday my son told me to please turn it off because it was just repeating exactly the same rhythm over and over (which he does not like at all)

Here’s a thought anyone good with piano keys? Would the beats have anything to do with music notation ABCDEFG ?
