One week without clues isn’t that long
For what it’s worth, I don’t think HG originally intended to reveal the next phase of the ARG quite so soon. I think it was probably scheduled for a little later in the year, but when they saw the interest Unification Day was generating, they felt they had to mark it with something. And what they did was make a teaser of the introduction to the new ARG.
Whether they will now keep up the momentum, or revert back to their original schedule, remains to be seen. I suspect that depends entirely on whether 1.5 is ready for release yet.
Either way, we’ve had three major developments confirmed;

Yeah it kind of seems like this use of the ARG might’ve been just to let us know the v4 Passes are on the way while letting us know that WT will continue. I’m good with that…
Yeah, just hope the ARG doesn’t last nearly as long this time around and instead we start doing ARGish type stuff in the Universes of No Mans Sky, rather than in real life.
Like going to planets and finding combots from Loop16 that gives us coordinates to certain planets or even like Codes that need to be deciphered thru something I dunno.

I think 1.5 means January 5 the arg is going to start back up. So I guess we can expect Emily to come back and consume or souls lol jk Emily please don’t kill me
Possible. January 5th is a Friday, and in the past they’ve tended to run these things over the weekend.

It would be an interesting but welcome misdirection to have an update tomorrow; 1.5 having a secondary meaning of January 5th with the drop of version 1.4.
However, I doubt that the ARG coupled update (1.5) will be tomorrow. I have heard of no one yet to receive a V4 Altas Pass, which are supposed to arrive before the next phase. Also with “Mirror” likely being our focus as portals were before, I don’t think we will see the logical multiplayer update for that theme until the next ARG phase ends.
So, I would love to see an interim 1.4 with mostly content (variety) update tomorrow, but I am not counting on it.
Maybe we’ll get the atlas passes on Friday
