Whenever you try to squeeze a tight fit with the collected waste on the flatbed of the Colossus, it drives/runs off. This happens regardless of the type of the ‘running gear’ installed.

So today I learned something to not do. I was in my main save gathering waste to get my Colossus up to specs. I think my mag gun thing might be better than the one I had in the expedition, because it seems to have more range*, so I can stand on the roof of the truck and gather over a pretty good distance. I’m hard at work, when some sort of finger spasm created a sort of slow double click…which let go of one of those blocky steel things that was already in full flight.
Knocked me right off the truck.
*possibly affected by class of multi-tool?

Interesting. Several have mentioned such accidents, here and on Reddit. Do the collision shapes push against each other, and that pushes the truck forwards, but because the crate is on the truck (and it’s not real physics), the crate follows in place, and it pushes the truck infinitely until it gets dislodged?
In Space Engineers, it’s an insider joke, if you cannot afford thrusters, you simply build a grid with a chair, gyroscopes, and one of the extending blocks (piston or hangar door) pushing into its own grid. And that infinitely accelerates the whole thing with incredible speed. Have you found the Clang Drive of NMS?
