There is now a collision with something invisible on that platform next to Helios, it seems to have circular footprint about the size of the small aquarium, so I would guess that is where the trophy from the winning team will go, or the completed ‘mirror’ will go there instead of replacing the nexus.

The current Restore: Sweeper mission is on a mountainous planet… Grah! This is going to be a huge pain, and the worst part is it’s still going to give 2 points to Weavers.
…but I’m still going to do it anyway.

I actually did do this, then plummeted down the other side. Lost about half my health tumbling down the cliff.

I usually use my Pilgrim, it is faster and—with all the wheel upgrades—can drive up a vertical wall. But I have not invested in building any exocraft on the expedition, yet, nor building the exocraft terminal on a freighter to summon them anywhere.
This was the first time I really could have used one on the expedition, and I was worried about trying it, because I noticed that if I go into my starship, or switch away from the terrain manipulator, the count for Sweeper missions would reset to 0 (still not sure if HG has fixed that, yet).

Once I realised I was going to be in the expedition for a while, I settled in and built myself some conveniences. Normally I wouldn’t bother, but this time it seemed worth it.
You can’t build a corvette, but you can make an awful lot of money selling the parts.

There are three new Objects added to the game files, mini trophy versions of the prismatic core in three different colours.
I assumed they’d be base decorations, someone even edited them into some builds using save editor for Grand Festival 2026.
Perhaps there will be a podium similar to an olympians medal podium, at three different heights, with the coloured trophy for each Team based on their finishing position in the expedition?
Just my wildest thought on what it could be…

In that case, the metal parts should be colored gold, silver and bronze, depending on which place we end the expedition in.

Not sure, they were first noticed in datamining when added through a patch after swarm released.
The fact they have image icons, leads me to believe they may be supplied via QS Synthesis bot’s Store. Or one will be automatically given to each team after the expedition ends, specific to your team, similar to the base decorations recieved so far.

Hoping we will get to 60% tomorrow, but it might be Friday morning (here in the UK). I wonder if that will cause the swarms to be larger again too.
I have multiple full stacks of the corrupted ichor in my storage already, but I am drowning in nanites.
I am wondering if the ending of the expedition will be changed with this expedition though, I have accumulated so many nanites, units and a bit of quicksilver (frigate missions), before considering the usual rewards for all the things I have unlocked/scanned/acquired that I will likely hit the caps in my primary saves at the end; even the one that only had the approx. 40 hours from a new start in Titan and then doing the Artemis and Atlas quests.

I haven’t done a statistics update in my usual time frame but I’ve also been brain dead exhausted after Grand Festival visits and a crazy week for the ARG plus heatwave.
We got to 60% pretty damn quick though, quicker than we got from 20-40 I feel.
