Hmmmm
I haven’t seen that before.
As BEYOND approaches there seems to be ever increasing instances of ‘barriers’ appearing…
Are the Boundary Failures failing & just randomly plonking giant barriers across the plain of existance?
Perhaps I’d better get building a new bunker base
Better build a sky base. I’m pretty sure underground bases will be hit the hardest when beyond drops…
I had that same glitch, a black wall strobing in and out. It was the exocraft pad/race modules that caused it in my case.
Heres how it looked from space…
14 posts were split to a new topic: API discussion (Vulkan, OpenGL, DirectX, GNM/GNMX, etc.)
I have moved the latest discussion here to a separate ‘new’ topic instead.

Well I have seen some ransom demands in my play time but this was crazy!
3.7 Million???, 18.8 Million Units!!!
I refused. On principal. Despite having billions Those pesky NPCs are having none of it, the money is going to charity (to the aid any new random player)
I wonder if the ransom is truly random or calculated on what you can afford or on what perhaps I was transporting at the time? It would be interesting to know. Probably random but I think it would be kind of cool if an NPC could decide how threatening it needed to be, for the outcome of a mission or something.
Anyway it was funny to see my eyes pop out when I saw THAT demand.
Despite efforts to respectfully preserve the remains of lost travellers, sometimes gravesites are plundered by giant corpse-worms, that burrow into the tomb and feast on the bones inside.
They’re just budding archaeologists, nobody’s explained to them yet it goes down better with the locals if they wait a few centuries
I used to get that on a really deep island location I had temporary micro-base on.
I’d be on the shore cliff top and my ship would be way down in the bottom of the ocean.
Sold my exotic for a cuter one. Returned to Trading Post on a mission in time to see a fighter land on/conjoin with it:
After the fighter took off I went up to my old craft, at which point it started drifting slowly backwards over the countryside. I tried to shoot it down, but the damage I did to it I also did to myself. Have video, but Twitter decided not to upload it.
I don’t know the specifics of your video, but Twitter has limitations.
According to Twitter help:
We currently support MP4 and MOV video formats on mobile apps. On the web, we support the MP4 video format with H264 format with AAC audio. You can upload videos up to 512MB, however you will be prompted to edit videos to 2 minutes and 20 seconds or less in length.
If you have a YouTube account, you’d be better off uploading it to your channel, to then post a link instead. There are similar alternatives to YouTube no doubt.
Had a similar experience ages ago.
