The only thing missing is the mountable dragons.
It’s starting to look that way, isn’t it? Maybe HG don’t intend to release Light No Fire - maybe it comes as a kit of NMS parts, and you build it yourself.
There are people who’ve managed to get a large flying mount via PC and then gift the eggs to regular players on all platforms.
They were using them for a meta game the community were playing during the summer where they all went to the same planet and tried to play No Mans Sky off the perceived rules of Light No Fire. So flying mounts were the only permitted method of traversal
My first time ever finding ‘Abandoned Wreckage’ in the wild.
I remember this was on my wishlist but had no idea it was implimented beyond a single encounter during an expedition.
These purple systems are incredible. I’ve seen both flora and fauna that we’ve never had before. This really was the best solution that wouldn’t disrupt all of the bases people have already built. Here is a screenshot of a “drowning planet”. The entire planet was covered in water. As I was diving down, there was darkness everywhere and I saw giant squid from the light coming from the nautilon. When I hit bottom, this is what I saw. This wasn’t even kilometers deep! I think I’d like to build a base surrounded by nothing but darkness.
Got some fishing helmets from the milestones. Decided to redesign my fisherman costume. Went with the helmet you get for releasing 60 fish
Judy Garland and Lawrence Welk would love this planet.
Oh wow. Was this a really big mountain on a water world or a really big ocean on a mountainy world?
I think its neither as the game described the plane as “dark wine planet”, so I’m assuming that the oceans is Burgandy wine, and the mountain is a camouflaged pumping plant. XD
Ruins were a good way of giving us planetwide civilized “cities” without having the inherent draw back of making them feel unnatural, functionless and empty as tends to happen if you make them seem like living cities.
Ruined civilizations are supposed to be all those things
Well, finally you can roleplay as a sentient fish piloting a mech suit…
