Oooo. Love the low shot of the puffer gas flora. Nice.
I had been taking out the monstrosities with one plasma round, it now takes 2 and the first one leaves them smolderingâŚ
The hazard/defense balance tipped with Sentinels, then Outlaws updates. Not so much fun for us exploring xenophotographers.
Itâs odd, when I see many of them, they start looking like mothsâŚ
Punny. Pretty punny.
Apart from finding a good motif and repositioning the sun, do you guys and gals mess with the other settings as well?
In those shots, I changed nothing except the focal depth in the bottom pic. However, I do sometimes tweak different settings. I have used them all. Filters are not something I use very often.
No⌠(extra periods used to make ten characters)
Yes, I always have to kill the stupid vignette and set it to 90 FOV, because it keeps changing on me every frikkin time!
Other than that, I sometimes rotate the cam, or use a diff FOV. I rarely use filters. I prefer to not mess with the clouds/fog, or the sun actually, as for some reason it is hard to get the natural look back again, but it depends a lot on the shot I am after.
I spend hours moving the sun around (to get contrast, usually I use dusk or dawn) but I leave the other settings.
Can the vignette be deactivated game wide? I might have done that.
Well, I was mainly asking to learn how to improve my xenophotography. Finding a good scene where colours and shapes come together nicely, or where the contrast emphasises interesting things, is of course the most important step, filters donât fix that. I just notice that 90% of my posted screenshots are âweakerâ than others here and canât put my finger on what it is.
We keep beggingâŚI know a lot of people have asked that it be set to 0 by default.
This comment may be what I finally need to produce a Xenophotographerâs Guide to No Manâs Sky.
This may also induce me to carve out time to start playing more too, grabbing screenshots as I go.
I have a pretty complete outline and several example photos, but need to actually start fleshing it out.
Please do
That would be pretty helpful --awesome!
