Since April 8 Sean has been tweeting with photos the have a reddish orange look. Today he tweeted a skull and crossbones and an Atlas station against a red nebula.
Hmmm. It smells of not-coincidence.

Building: The Refinery
Building: The Airport
The Refinery is still visible in the distance.
The Observatory
and The Gardens
are not far from here, as well.
But I fear I must explain…
The people of this land mastered the art of balance and levitation.
![]()
Why? Out of respect for the sentient beings that came to infest these lands.
But in truth, the air is not quite stable here. It is difficult to breath from such tiny bubbles. I have found that I have to stay connected to the oxygen harvester even when I sleep. But the bedding is so primitive, and my sheets are alive as if with some spirit. I’ve grown weary of sodium, so I finally learned to cook. - But…
“Don’t drink the water” said a Traveller. ![]()
Granted, I do not understand, as I do not believe I am capable of drinking water.
But this land is not to be trusted, that is for sure. If you upset the unseen ones, it will run as red as the crimson needle, and there is this feeling that pulsates through the arteries until worms spew from your very mouth.
So that is why I left that place. Had I waited any longer, my beard may have become infested.
That was my biggest worry. Take my soul, but don’t touch my manliness. {{Ruffles feathers}}
Of course, I do miss the price of rocket fuel, there!
I understand that there’s a war raging on. I’ve seen the night sky, vibrations can be felt on the airwaves, so many destress signals. The wounded keep lining the corridors of the local space station and many have found solace in the space anomaly. Why did I move here?
Oh yes! I remember, it was the local wildlife. I know, I was a strict vegetarian before moving here…
But uh… Well, I uh…
You see, I have this thing for shrooms. ![]()
And these guys, well needless to say - Well I just couldn’t help myself, they smelled of Geknip.
Which reminds me…
I’ll need some more butter and onions, but for that I’ll have to take to the stars.
But I am haunted by thoughts…
Along the way, I was stopped by a passing Traveller. They said the Vy’Keen have started recruiting warriors. And for those that refuse, “they remove their exosuits and allow what’s alien, to run its alien course.” Hmm…
With all these war stories, I fear I may be recruited.
But I just got here…
Or perhaps it is time to leave…
INCOMING SIGNAL:
Nice story. Welcome back!
The star-studded heavens likely look more realistic now, but I find myself appreciating more the older, sparser view of stars. It seemed more “lonely.” Ah, well … “progress” ![]()
Hmm. An overhead pass.
Passing frigates (well, one of them)
Self-snow-covering ball&chains! ![]()
Um, hello up there? We are trying to slee-- okay let’s be honest we just run in circles all night.
That one had a nice nose, alas very low stats.
Here an unfolded pointy one. You basically have to watch them before they land, the preview doesn’t show the sails after they land, right?
And I wish you all “a hello day” ![]()
Great photos!
Looks like a kickass entry on a rock stage to me ![]()
