Wormholes! 
Hello! I’ve not posted any pictures in a while (though I have captured many). I have been building bases or reworking old ones (and trying out the new parts added) when time permits and there hasn’t been much time to do much else or post here in recent months.
I was surprised and astonished by the (large) update yesterday and had no expectations, then found this. There was a little text icon mentioning Hyperspace gate? or something? Is this a taste of things to come?
Spolier alert - just in case these are not common objects and you might stumble on them soon yourselves.
I’ll remove the spoiler thing next week but I think it is just an object floating in space, for the moment. It looked great and I loved the electricity snapping erratically. Hello Games if you do read anything here, you make many player’s heart sing with the art and wonder of this game. Thank you so much for all the support adnd love you lavish on your passion. Now I can stop being obsequious and go back to being a grumpy Vy’keen.

I’m glad you found that, because I saw something similar coming around a planet JUST as I was entering its atmosphere. As soon as I entered, the object disappeared and I was left wondering what it was. 
Now I know what I missed! Thanks for sharing.

Those pics are really nice especially the colourful second and third one! Your first pic says ‘Child of Helios’ which is curious. I looked back through the pictures of the object I found yesterday and discovered I had taken a picture catching the name. Mine was called ‘Hyperspace Navigation Station’! I wonder if that is going to be needed for something?

And also this was the communication text. Did everyone get that during the Starbirth quest? It has 15 digits but the 8 messes up any theory of it being a galactic address, unless I converted it incorrectly or there is an error. Maybe it means nothing?
