Ok, what the hell is this?

@zsigmond
That looks to be a combat frigate.
If that is your freighter/ Command Ship then it must be one of yours.

If it is something new to you then;
Once you own a Command Ship and have built a Frigate Control Room, you can then hire frigates as you go about, each type specialised for certain tasks, ie Combat, Industrial, Support, Trade & Exploration. Each type is a certain unique design. You send these on missions and when they return you get various goodies and cash.

Also worth noting is: when you are attacked by pirates and you happen to be in the same system as your fleet, your Combat Frigates will join in the fight and help you out.

PS
Welcome back to Euclid by the way :slight_smile:

I lasnded on it and saw nothing for me to do … did I miss something?

Depending on the type of frigate, you may get some stuff by landing on it or have some special options.
There’s only really something to do if the thing is damaged though, which is repairing it.

By the way, first time I’m seeing those! The design is nutty!! And 4 landing pads? gorgeous!

Here is my Hauler from 1.3

Hmm. The galactic mini-map at upper left makes it look like you are “in” a ways from the outer rim. My view shows my latest positions locations as on the outermost “ring” in that map but only have a distance of 718K from the center. Odd.

at the rim is another 100K higher, I am at 818K

Im at pretty much the farthest out you can go, almost right in the upper n/w corner. The Galactic Atlas is a bit more descriptive of position.

Wow. Yep, that is real “far out.”

Are there many “normal” systems around at that distance out?

In my side of the galaxy I was wondering did “they” remove exotic’s? I have only been able to find one S-Class ship.

The ratio of systems is the same, everything seems just like it is near the core. In atlas rises I didn’t like the fade, I thought everything was a bit off but I think that was just in my head :smiley:

They seem to be more rare. Same seems to be true for S class multi tools. Emily must have initiated a buyback program. :grin:

Emily, Emily, Emily … where oh where are you tonight?

Exotics & ‘S’ class goodies are rarer since Next.
Sometimes I see none for ages and then suddenly I come across a couple.

My experience near the fade was no different to near the core or anywhere else.
I’ve been all over Euclid, across all the various reset updates and the variation seems to be the same, no matter where you are in relation to the galactic core.

It’s not just class S that’s harder to find. Class A has also become much more scarce. 48 slot ships are now rare. Crashed ships are few and far between, and what you do find tends to be low-grade junk.

All the nice stuff has been drastically reduced. In terms of game economy, I suppose it makes sense - except there isn’t a game economy. You can’t sell ships or multitools.
