Request Memory Timestamp

We are all deprecating

What I’d give to transfer my old ā€œThe Firstā€ title from PS4 over to my XBOX or PC :frowning:!

 (no heart left for today)

I’m glad I’m not the only one getting turned all around with timestamp conversion

May be possible?

I think I forgot to convert my time to UTC… and it was kinda important because the exact time is listed in the WT wiki. Maybe @the_architect will take my deprecation into consideration

I should try this… family just got a PS5 so I was able to recover my old profiles, I’ll have to give it a shot! I’ll tinker. Thank you!

Probably the last one I’m doing today. Timestamp correlates with the last inbox message from the Architect to Null.

The door being open could be significant, if it is the same one Null was trying to open in the boundary failure logs.

A curious thing happened yesterday and I did not realize it. The architect liked one of my posts. It is a post just before the one by @Polyphemus which was also liked by the architect. That like was one of the things that caused us to believe this ARG was real.

@Vau1t pointed it out in discord. Perhaps this was the clue to the password.

Hey everyone,

I do not know in which way this might be relevant, or whether it is at all. But I noticed on SECURITY LOG – project-skyscraper the individual red links led to the page itself, but they use a redirect in the form of https://project-skyscraper.com/?p=281

This led me to try and find out whether there were any other links with this pattern that pointed to specific pages, so I wrote a little script to find out which pages returned any information other than:

"Memory bloc can’t be reached

Memory restoration in progress"

Maybe there is some sort of pattern to the numbers chosen, but maybe someone smarter than me can figure out more. In any case here is the list containing all the pages that are currently accessible via an https://project-skyscraper.com/?p=x style link, that I have found: (for reference, I looked up all the way to 20000. Also sorry if the formatting is off)

I uploaded some memories I have of the game and waking Titan, that will always stick with me. Emily’s Alexander radio request, creating a comic for patient Claire and also the first time I ever learned of No Man’s Sky. I have more I may submit tomorrow, as it’s late now and took me some time to find things.

Ten years ago, BBC News reported on the launch day of No Man’s Sky

Well I’ve entered everything I can think of, now I guess I’ll just wait to see if any of them go from pending to granted…

Ummm … Should the timestamp by special Unix type (Galactic Hub fols say) yyyymmdd format or ??

And initial memory value. Anything?

@Clemm, I don’t know if there’s any specific rules. It’s likely these will all be sorted through before being added.

I think most of us have been using the Unix timestamps, and then using the memory value to describe what happened at that time. But, who knows, really?

I tried posting the release of DOOM [In case it wanted real life events]

Operator: ETARC
UNIX: 755433600
IMV: The release of the first-person shooter DOOM.

My theory regarding the ā€œRequest Memory Timestampā€ submission page.
tl:dr we need to feed the system memories of Waking Titan, maybe specifically Emily.

April 13th - Quote page, cryptically leads to twitter/bluesky
May 3rd - Wol packet sent, something is waking up.
May 10th - the_architect posts to ETARC forum, gets auto flagged as spam.
May 12th - ETARC post is ā€œauthorizedā€ ā€œdespite clear non-human signatureā€
May 14th - u/Project_Skyscraper posts to r/NoMansSkyTheGame and gets a site-wide ban.
May 27th - Security log mentions ā€œHistorical_DB_Unreachable. ERROR 1016ā€ the same error seen when trying to visit the Waking Titan page.
later that day, Reboot Sequence is Initiated and system is ā€œrebootedā€
May 29th - ā€œHistorical_DBā€ is still unreachable even after reboot, Error 1016. connection is redirected to ā€œTOWER coreā€, a link is established and ā€œFallback route activeā€
May 31th - password is found to be ā€œEMILYā€. Memory_reconstruction_engine is activated (but ā€œdeprecatedā€) Memory bloc addition authorized.

The first thing the system does besides cryptically lead people to twitter/bluesky through the poem is to go to the ETARC forum and then other NMS/WT sites. Each time it is met with rejection with ETARC being the only one to actually ā€œlistenā€.

I believe Memory_reconstruction_engine is the ā€œfallback routeā€ to gain info (memories) from WT specifically. The system can’t access WT site and has to resort to an old outdated ā€œdeprecatedā€ mode of regaining memories (us uploading memories to it). I fully believe the system is Emily/loop16 and the first thing she did when awoken (by the architect?) was to go to the last place she remembered… ETARC, but something is wrong with (corrupting) her memory and without the WT site she has nowhere to gain those memories back. It is now up to us here at ETARC, the only ones not shutting Emily out, to help her regain her memories.

Not a bad idea.

all of emilys topics, posts, replies etc can be easily accessed here for gathering timestamps and so on. Badges could be a good source too for pulling specific links or replies that got a milestone for them.

Use the waking titan wiki too to gather any major Emily events that occured outside of this forum after she disappeared, or during season 2 in 2018 when she was not so much a presence on the forum but very much outside of it in an ethereal sense.

I’d love to stay up and help but its 3.20 am here now and I need sleepy bed night bye times.

Okay so I posted Emily’s latest post. Here’s the stats:

Operator: ETARC

Initial Memory Value: Emily ETARC Post - Dreamer Extraction

Restore her memory to just before she died. Just like Chandra does to HAL in the 2010 clip.
