Request Memory Timestamp

I am not a member of that one apparently…

Is there a link on the nms home page? I’ll go look.

Here you go:

Just adding this to list of things requested to timestamp.

That’s the limit of 32 bit RAM without any tweaks or modifications.

Shooting from the hip, that’s the beginning of mapped RAM; drivers and stuff are mapped to that location since 32bit can only see 4GB.

Important system drivers and whatnot, just like the interface we have been working through.

Note AI was used for the following:

The memory location 002D:C562F157 points to the System Core / Ring 0 Arena, located well above the 3GB mark in virtual memory, far away from the system’s first 64KB.

Well, it was 2018, - and the computers probably weren’t new.

It occurs to me that Edward de Bono’s “Six Thinking Hats” theory involves solving problems by thinking about them is six specific ways - the idea being that once you start thinking in a particular mode, you tend to ignore possibilities that arise from other modes of thinking. Deliberately using all six forces you to consider all the possibilities.

Perhaps we are being asked to consider events on certain dates in a variety of thinking modes?

Just a thought for some timestamps:

Emily was into radio, right? Did she ever talk about musical genres she was into? It should be simple to look up dates to the releases of certain songs she may have liked, and songs can often elicit high emotional responses.

I like this idea.

Different perspectives on the same events.

on the one hand, the computer blue screened.

On another, Emily sacrificed herself to save a dreamer.

yet again, we also have the literal simulation, the 3 races (plus 1 for sentinels?)

and today, we have the hoard and autophage.

The autophage speak specifically of this echo existence.

The Vykeen are opposed to the Atlas and Sentinels.

The Korvax worshipped Atlas. Atlas stood idle as Gek destroyed them.

The Void Mother was given form from the shards of Korvax Prime and the disembodied Korvax lost.

If VM is a shard of Emily, and Emily is Atlas v0.1

And Atlas created the 3 races in the first place… and the Sentinels are literally an anti-virus protocol to avoid the Atlas being disturbed (and they use the realm of glass)

All of this is inside Atlas. Between his protocols exist the Sentinels. The autophage found a way to hide from the Sentinels. They have a shared memory of the lost Korvax. They have returned from the echoes.

Atlas has a conscience, it’s Emily, somewhere.

Atlas has no emotional anchors.

Emily is the scaffold…?

iterations. factal…?

what’s fractal date? Wasn’t that an update, too?

Yes. It was one of those that was more cosmetic- and QOL-focused than anything fancy.

I believe it was just before the Utopia Expedition, if I remember right.

Edit: The trailer for it is dated February 22, 2023. It looks like it included the Utopia Expedition.

“They dug too deep.”

I believe you are spot on, and after seeing how @the_architect stabilized the memory after @sheralmyst mentioned Six Thinking Hats, I believe that is the specific thing that stabilized the memory.

Actually it was @YourBasicMaths who submitted the timestamp to 6 thinking hats and with emotional impact. We believe the emotional part along with the correct timestamp is what made it stable. 6 thinking hats was part of the WT ARG

To clarify without AI hallucination: It’s a page fault that used to happen in Windows 9x all the time due to VXD deref. It was infuriatingly common.
It’s not related to capacity or anything like that. Just a derefed virtual device driver (these live in ring 0 / kernel space).
It’s a cute little nod / flavouring. Probably not related to the ongoing.

Decided to make the most personal mem bloc addition I could in relation to this place. My very first post on ETARC.

My first post on ETARC. Little did I know, I would be posting here every day and make some amazing friends for the next 9 years, all thanks to Emily. This place has been my home and community long after Emily departed and one day, we hope she will return to us. We kept the lights on and the place warm for her until then.

https://project-skyscraper.com/request-memory-timestamp-094317/?contact-form-id=1776&contact-form-sent=2758&contact-form-hash=c92f32aa1939b93c2bdaba7daa29b6d23591ba45&_wpnonce=a8e01eff7f

Emily posted right after me too, though not in response to me, but in response to the same person I was replying to. Funny that this persons disillusionment with the ARG is what had me chime in for the first time after mostly lurking.

The post was on Jun 19th but I had joined the forum on Jun 15th.

It’s been one hell of a decade here with you guys <3 So glad I made the plunge.

Does anyone remember what was in the W/ARE R&D Incident Report? I remember something happening and that was the reason we never received are W/ARE merch…I just cannot remember what happened and the webpage no longer exists.

Our game, Tumbleweed, won 3rd place which wasn’t bad with some really stiff competition out there.

I have 4 notes from Nadeau as pdf and image, but those look to be geometric drawings of some sort. Is that what you are after?

I have plenty more though, but need a clue to search for

Damn, a lot of the doc links on gamedetectives just take you to a 404-ish mailchimp page.

I figured they would have it.
