Damn, I guess architect knew that green was my favorite color ![]()
ARG is to announce new colour pallettes, confirmed. I knew it!
Welcome @Shadow429 , more Havenites to the cause ![]()
I guess Sheral is weaver-royal now, that bomber boy is sage-royal and pr1sm is Double-Sage ![]()
As usual lately, I’m outta ![]()

I think the ARG has resulted in the largest number of posts I’ve seen, though I don’t recall if WT generated as many. I was tracking Discord more at that time.
Good question. I want to say come 2017, there werent many of us travellers still playing the game, and it certainly wasnt on as many platforms. Just PC and Playstation 4. Xbox came after waking titan season 2 if I recall.
The player base is more consistent than its ever been. We did have a lot of people from the wider ARG community taking part like Game Detectives etc. I dont think theres many from those communities around this time, but they may have bumped the numbers back then.
I would say its fair to say there may be more paying attention to the ARG this time around.
Adding this here as selfie geks glitch was chosen.
Its also the first glitched submission to get a proper log page, tied to a retweet from Sean of all things.
I haven’t seen/used the Pilgrim Star Path in so long… I wonder if we’re being fed coordinates again?
We tried some of them but they all led to systems not generally accessible from in-game, but via save file editing etc.
It could be our first hint as to upcoming content for the update (if we assume this isn’t a fan project).
Purple systems used to belong to this batch of inaccessible systems, and the introduction of the swarm via an expedition, is similar to how the autophage were introduced first via an expedition before being added with a major update a few weeks later.
The continuation of their story a year later is what led to purple systems being added. Perhaps more of these inaccessible system will be introduced when the Swarm get added to the game proper? Maybe this is one of the big additions coming with the Anniversary update? ![]()
All speculation of course when I’m wearing my “Maybe this is official” hat. Which I try not to wear too much, gotta temper expectations ![]()
Or perhaps they are corrupted memories of glyph coordinates, but have come out wrong similar to the other hallucinated memories from the System. One of them begins with an 8 for example, which isn’t really possible, though you could change that to a correct character associated with one of the 6 planets you expect to find in a system.
@Selfie-Gek is the first set to come with an actual page though… Has anyone tried it yet? It might be the first one to contain no errors…
Just tried it in Haven Map’s create wizard. It seems to be another Phantom system, the system name is Eyagame-Kimi and it’s in a region called Adjakol Cluster. (Only tested this for Euclid, but all 256 galaxies will show it as a phantom system, just with different system and region name)
Warning
PHANTOM STAR: Solar system index 3292 (0xCDC) indicates a phantom star. These systems are not normally accessible via the Galactic Map.
Decoded Coordinates
PHANTOM
X: -293
Y: -12
Z: -516
Planet: 11
Region: [3803, 244, 3580]
Solar System Index: 3292 (0xCDC)
Classification: PHANTOM
This system will be recorded for tracking purposes but may not appear on standard maps.
3D Map Position (calculated from region + SSS):
(-311.57, -19.02, -492.88)
I’m clueless when it comes to phantom/shadow/glass systems, even with helpful visual guides like @Jaina_Siderea provided above.
Not sure which bracket this one falls into ![]()
Using @vector_cmdr 's idea of seeing what colour scheme they provide, I got this.
Out of curiosity, since these are unreachable systems by vanilla means, and galaxy 256 is an unreachable galaxy by vanilla means, the system name for G256 would be Ittorib and the region name would be Yorhofsko Cluster . This was done purely for my own boredom and amusement, no leads to be found by my ramblings.
I hope so! But given that coordinates are region-specific rather than system-specific, I’m not sure what we could do with them even if they are meant as coordinates. 2 out of 3 Solar Index Values are invalid / phantom stars, which makes me think they aren’t meant to be read as SIV’s.
I think you may be onto something!
I think I’m just red herring pilled. If there’s a dead end, you bet I’m gonna follow and find it ![]()
Well, if its a HG sponsored ARG, then it will probably throw so many curveballs we’ll never guess what it means within the NMS universe because Mr Murray is very good a vague hints that go in odd directions.
…& if it is fan-made, then we’ll be forever chasing ideas that will not in fact ever mean anything within the NMS universe, with no idea where any of this is leading.
Remember Atlas Rises & the teased Royal Exotic Tallwing ship image that was glitchy & we had no idea what it could be? And it turns out to be a ship type nobody has ever seen before so we were never going to guess it correct anyway ![]()
If anyone is bored or curious, I have a couple fun little nothing burgers to share as it relates to the #GlitchingReality file names (in the order of their time of release).

Extracting the letters from each of the above strings gives:
AAFBCEFABCDCFDFCEDB
And passing this through the cipher school code (spaces added for emphasis):
NOCODE: AAFBCEF ABCD CFDFCEDB (original)
ENCODE: FFEINHE FIND NEDENHDI (ciphered)
DECODE: MMAINFA MIND NADANFDI (deciphered)
So. Now that I’ve lost my mind, I guess it’s time to…
F I N D M I N D.
Edit: It occurred to me that this is only one combination of 24 possible combinations. So I went ahead and tried those as well. Enjoy looking at them. Spoiler: nothing major sticks out

And a Nedenhdi Nadanfdi day to you too sir *tips hat *
Ah! A fellow Mmainfa Nadanfdi! *tips hat *
Am I the only one who sees “FIND NEDE” or “FIND (N) EDEN” in all the gobbledygook?
Possibly a nothing-burger, but, first time I saw the Space Invaders image, I swore the first part of the score said “EDEN” in reverse:
Here it is reversed:
I’m probably just wearing my conspiracy hat and this is just a random coincidence. But just in case, anyone interested in taking an impromptu trip to Eden, Texas?
(I am 100% kidding, of course.)
(Unless… it gets us our next clue.)
So many theories came to my mind reading “FIND” and “EDEN” in the same sentence
(Pieces of Eden from AC) but i highly dubt it would come to that. Either way I went down memory lane for a whole other game. XD
From what I’ve read of WT, the Atlas Foundation sounds a bit like Abstergo, so I wouldn’t be too surprised.
But I was thinking more the idea of a paradise. There’s plenty of paradise planets in NMS, but perhaps the concept of it being a “pre-fall” sort of paradise.
The majority of 2016 was before “the fall” of NMS. It could be they are trying to bring back the bliss of excitement leading up to the 2016 launch? Or, they’re going to bring back everything that was promised before launch (which it seems they’ve already done)? Or, perhaps someone is trying to find Oria V, the paradise planet from the pre-launch trailer, specifically?
…Or, a whole new paradise world that has never experience a fall, yet, such as the one in LNF.
BUT!! I’m probably waaay off my rocker, here.
