First noticed by @ThatBomberBoi , some peoples primes are now saying if you look out your window you will see [system name] followed by hex coordinates for a glyph address.
Creating this thread to track these as they happen, some operators are currently on their way to said destinations.
Everyone check your primes, see if you got a new message waiting for you on Terminal
Heres an example shared by @TomAcreon , they caught theirs changing in real time
Not sure if the destination is the actual system, or the system is being viewed from a “window” in another nearby system we have to find.
Please be mindful not to visit somebody elses given System until theyve had a chance to visit and claim it for themselves
For those who don’t have it to hand, To check your prime in the terminal visit EotT Demo - RecallDreams and if it asks for the password input 10B805005006
The Shared Dream
System has asked to show what we see in the system we’ve been given. Provide an image(s) and maybe include a bit of a story. Email this to system@project-skyscraper.com making sure to include your prime number!
Edit: We now have a third person in our little prime window group, and it seems we misunderstood how it works when you have neighbours! Kizawa-Niwam XIV is actually CaptHarpo’s system, and mine is apparently Biehboc-Seh, which is not listed in the response to my prime!
I have not been to Biehboc-Seh, so I’d like CaptHarpo to visit and claim discovery data for that one in exchange. My apologies for rushing ahead!
Additionally, warping to a location and just choosing not to upload it would still allow one to collect the portal address whilst keeping the system undiscovered.
They all seem to be in a straight line but not necessarily near each other in the galaxy, some are very far apart.
If you understand how the universe is laid out in relation to the glyphs and how galactic coordinates works, and if theyre all in a line, it would be easy enough to know which glyphs or digits to change to keep everything on the same axis or go in a certain direction.
Again I may still be misunderstanding what people have meant when they said they were in a line but on other sides of the galaxy to eachother. Have one eye on the chatter and the other on window cleaning (beautiful coincidence this happens the day I pick to clean the house windows )
This might be a good use for Haven Map to see how they all sit in the galaxy in relation to eachother.
Would make joining the dots easier for sure
But some folk associate the map with an adjacent LLC so I dont think folk would be comfortable with that.
The community figured out a long time ago that it works on a grid, the scattering and layout of stars to break up the grid however is something done in engine and would be proprietary code.
Also, not all possible glyph combinations are visible, a region can hold up to 4000 or so star systems but only about 600 max are visitable per region, the others can be reached via save editing and are called phantom and glass systems, depending on the numerical range. Some of those invisible systems were revently let loose via purple stars, so theres theory that one day more might be made available.
Theres a cool image and graph that breaks down how glyphs work in relation to galaxy position from the centre, folk who understand which glyphs in the sequence indicate the xyz axis are able to send themselves in their desired direction by using save editors or manually entering the glyphs into a portal with their current glyph location as a basis.
@had You were the first person I joked was the architect when we learned they were French. Now you’re not doing yourself any favours, you’re back on the number one suspect list
