Color Shifting

Not sure if it’s a graphics thing here but the postcard images are turning monochrome

Yes just noticed that

So is it something in the images, the systems or operator IDs?

The images themselves are atill in colour when you click in. The greyscale is being applied by webcode on the main gallery page.

Also the gallerys are now split into sets of 16

Nevermind my phone was just being screwy when i moved to the original set of photos from the new duplicaye grey scale gallery

and the 16 showing monochrome at the top are not just the first 16 from below

Discord folk noticed it happens to be all the active users currently in discord that had their images greyscaled :eyes:

@Rusty also handily compiled the windows for us

Windows 439, 421, 13, 19, 53, 83, 251, 419, 8867, 541, 1213, 911, 569, 607, 829, 1913

Have those systems all be mapped, are the maybe evenly distributed in the network?

Are they all root primes?

Or perhaps they were the first 16 to be submitted? - Nope, Klarac’s isn’t there.

The first 16 images in the shared dream have gone B&W

Running them through terminal, they all seem to be yeah, definitely all familiar faces and long standing operators on the discord, all currently active and chatting within the channel when this happened too.

That is certainly possible, but I’m sure we don’t have complete records of when everyone sent theirs in

No Klarac sent theirs before we knew to and their’s is not in that section

Seems that way at a glance but its not the first 16, a few of them are from later in the list.

  3. Image five - 13 - @Mafi-143 - three

  4. Image eight - 19 - @SingularGleam - four

  5. Image nine -53 - @ ThatBomberBoi - five

  6. Image six - 83 - @Rusty - six

  7. Image twelve -251 - @astrosurf66 -seven

  8. Image fifteen -419 - @G_fudi - eight

  9. Image sixteen - 8867 - @thewingcmdr -nine

  10. Image two - 541 - @stubbornducky -ten

  11. Image thirteen - 1213 - @Rinha - fifteen

  12. Image eighteen - 911 - @ Vau1t - fourteen

  13. Image twenty one - 569 - @ vector_cmdr - eleven

  14. Image Twenty - 607 - @fort_wort_wort - twelve

  15. Image Nineteen - 829 - @ Maniro - thirteen

  16. Image three - 1913 - @ sheralmyst - sixteen

(can only @ ten people in a post. )

edit: added the order they were uploaded in according to the tracker at the end of the list.

Thanks to klarac, cattivision, bernice and sheral for this.

All in order bar five at the last batch but this might be an error on trackers end or an error with some of the latter images uploading sooner than the order PM’s committed them to site when batch uploading.

Is System trying to sync up to really old satellite that does not support color?
Someone has suggested Voyager which also has a golden record aboard…
and the current version of NMS is Voyagers

I have a list of the order they are in, which image number they are from the original gallery, and the prime number and operator they belong to here

When we scroll down we still see the images in color.

The black and whites are duplicates
