The Titan was still sleeping?
I miss the old days, was a lurker back then and very sad to not receive a level 4 Atlas Pass when they went out. After several thousand hours in NMS i stopped playing last year, but it’s still my #1 in my top ten.
Thought I just check if anything’s happening here and to my surprise, it seems to be. Very much looking forward to what the more clever ones among you can dig up over the next days and weeks. Waking Titan was one of the most memorable events in the last 34 years of playing video games.

Thank you! I could see the URL slugs were incrementing by the same number of days between each post, I just couldn’t figure out what the format was. Also, (and I’m sure everyone knows this already) each of these blog posts correspond with a social media post.

I’ve been keeping track of those! Its nice seeing em all laid out in a graph, but I don’t think it gives us much more information than just keeping an eye on / interacting with the accounts we have to potentially trigger another event?

A small but interesting connection regarding the April 13th, 2005 post, “Sunday Morning.”
Could be coincidence but with ARGs coincidences are rare. Skyscraper woke up on May 3, 2026 which happens to be a Sunday. Unix time 1777795453 is 8:04 AM UTC. So… Sunday Morning?
Some additional fun little maths easter eggs include:
Excluding the 21 years prior, from April 13th, there are 32 days remaining until May 3, 2026 (wake up day), which breaks down into 4 weeks and 4 days.
Interestingly, half 32 is 16, and 4x4 is 16.
There were also 16 sleeping posts leading up to “wake up day.”

Another odd thing I noticed about timestamps…
the /about page is marked as being published 12 seconds after the start of Unix time in its HTML header, which is when /origin is dated to. If that page is still intended to be accessed, I wonder if those are the system’s “first thoughts”?

Something I figured out with a quick Google search. Could be coincidence, could be unrelated, could be already discovered and mentioned, but look up two people : an American illustrator named Hugh Ferriss from back in the day. He was apparently known for creating the mood and of the modern American skyscraper, and even published a book or two containing some of his drawings. I guess his most famous book was called The Metropolis of Tomorrow (1929): It presents a utopian, slightly dystopian vision of a future city divided into functional zones (Science, Art, Business) with monumental, evenly spaced megastructures. Plus he had a friend and collaborator named Harvey Wiley Corbett that did a lot of actual building. Get this: Harvey’s nickname was The Skyscraper Architect. According to my Googling, they teamed up and helped design some stuff that made beautiful skyscrapers despite restrictive zoning laws that were introduced in New York during his prime. I’m thinking this is either a baseline used for Light No Fire lore, or a very dedicated fan. Full disclosure: I did try googling with Google’s AI overview feature on as well as off, and the information slightly changes, so it could just be AI making stuff up. To me, this kind of makes sense though.

Might just be a default import with some other plugin used for the site, but website seems to have a plugin used for polls (crowdsignal-forms) reported by the WP REST API.

So I think this 2/1/1 (or 1/1/2) thing is extremely notable and deserving of our attention, and not just because of the extracted digits from the typos listed below.

Every other sleep-mode post uses a 5-digit number — 46105, 46108, 46110, 46115, etc. This one is 4613. The expected value was 46113; the author dropped one digit on purpose. extracted digit: 1

Body reads Connect1on detected instead of “Connection detected.” The letter i is the digit 1. extracted digit: 1

Inside the full log, the review timestamp reads [12/5/206 12:00:00 PM]. The year should be 2026. One digit short. extracted digit: 2
The automated posting cadence is clearly set for a 2 day, 11hr frequency (there’s that 2/1/1 again). And with the exception of a couple that are +/- a couple hours, there are four major anomalies that really stand out.
Fascinatingly, their occurrence between standard 2 day, 11hr scheduled posts create the same 2 / 1 / 1 pattern.
Granted, this has only happened once, but I don’t believe it’s a coincidence for the following reasons:
- The first 2 anomalous posts appear intentionally grouped (as 2), see “TR4CE”
- The next 2 anomalous posts are unique (shadowcheck-1912 and security breach)
- Being unique, and therefore, separate, (1, 1)
We now have at least four references to 1 / 1 / 2 or 2 / 1 / 1:

edit: it also occurs to me that it may be worth including the 3 minute 33 second portion of the posting cadence, but it tends to vary more so I’m not sure.

Hi everyone!
This is my first time posting here, but I’ve been reading your posts for years.
Yesterday we did something a bit silly, but when we saw the message:
“The security system is insufficient. The system is currently at risk. The consequences of overloading are unpredictable.”
I thought, “What if we overload the system in a simple way?” So, several of us visited the page at the same time to see if we could increase the number on the homepage.
We didn’t get any results. We think the counter updates every 5 minutes. Is there any way to find out if there’s an event linked to this widget? My programming skills are very basic.
Could we make a mass call at a specific time and day? I can help organize it.
I know it’s very simple, but in my limited experience we often overthink things that are literal.
