The bird graphic has many of the characteristics of an old wood-block print. If it has been sourced from an old out-of-copyright publication, it could have featured in any number of clip art collections. It’s hardly surprising to find unrelated uses of thhe thing.

It’s possible it’s a stock photo or licensable art resource.
The Atlas-65 / Atlas-CSD “A” itself, which originated in Waking Titan and was an asset chosen by Alice & Smith, is one such thing. It’s even older than the release of NMS itself

A lot of the WT ARG and it’s in-universe companies were made using stock images etc, it comes with the territory for a lot of ARG’s due to how fast, fluid and reactive their creation can be.
These days it’s even more comforting to see considering generative AI slop is everywhere. Nice to see an artist is still getting paid somewhere, instead of them just generating everything from gemini/claud or whatever the latest go to AI doohicky is now.

Even photos of W/ARE crew (Arnaud himself) were stock images, but it was easy to find where to buy them. I found nothing for the bird origin.

An eventful day for me, another birthday, another trip around Sol completed. The last one I would do before entering a 3rd decade… I would have 7 more wonderful birthdays after this with my mother. The last 3 just haven’t been the same without her. I wonder what she’d make of all of this? Trying to restore the memories of a System, with my own? Maybe she would want me to share some of hers.

Archie built the site for Arnaud. Ghost/System has been telling a lie and making Archie believe he was still there only he isn’t.
System has told us they are not Emily and they are not Arnaud.
Are they a combo? are they something else…

In my mind System was built from loop16+Arnaud “memory” (wreckage) after Emily merged with what remained of Arnaud when “she” needed to left place/power to save Toby. Only a small part of loop16 (like the Machine in Person of interest) with a small part of Arnaud.
So System had recallection from both, but unclear, unstable, without being one or the other. Now, with the help of the 120 windows System has more datas to understand “who he is”.

Its a funny one because Emily was never really Emily either, that was just a disguise she wore to hide from their creators and then adopted when we became somewhat of a family to her. As an entity they were always so much more than that, it was ultimately an identity she used when communicating with us meatbags
