We were racking our brains over the postcard. Architect was sending some not-so-subtle hints that we weren’t through with it yet, so a good amount of us were in the discord trying to come up with a solution.
It had been identified that the “Kathleen” on the back of the card was a fictional character – @Rinha locked on to this and sent a request to the architect stating that since she was a fictional character, the memory we were trying to stabilize had to be a hallucination. The Architect updated the memory to reflect that her solution was accepted, and that the memory was indeed a hallucination.
That’s when a ton of memories started to populate. Rinh’a basically cleared 62(?) sectors of memory for us in one submission.
I was talking with @AlexWinter and they were asking if I could relay the email we got from the_Architect when the school cipher first appeared to them as they could not remember its content…
The secondary website we first discovered on day one, but ignored as we figured it was probably reserved for later… you realised recently with the hindsight of the cipher that it said TOWER in its URL..
So after re-reading that original email we got sent to our inboxes by the Architect… It has me looking at it in a whole new light…
"For Your Eyes Only
I know you will be able to read this message. This is not a game.
We need the password. System won’t let me enter the TOWER but you can access it.
Leonardo da Vinci was right."
Are they referring to the secondary website here? The Tower that we can access? They certainly know we found it early on… Perhaps it is idle and blank because they can no longer enter it… Could there be more we are missing here? Did you ever get any further than that p3? resolve?
Turning over old stones in case there was something we missed, mostly, just in case. I can’t even remember if that email we got led to a password or not for something
TOWER almost certainly refers to the secondary website if you ask me, but I of course base that on the fact that attempting to decode TOWER gives you ywvhk. ?p=3 does resolve to a different URL, which would seem to indicate that something was at one point getting configured there, but the page itself is just the standard blue page we got before. I’ve tried a variety of other numbers in an effort to get to new pages on the site, but they’ve all failed thus far. Basically any time we get a string or numbers or a word/phrase that seems important, I try it out.
Oop, interesting, when was this? Checking out the robots.txt for the TOWER site, it shows that the current version was generated on June 8th now. Wonder if we might be closer to it going live? https://theskyscraperarchitect-ywvhk.wordpress.com/robots.txt
EDIT: Discussed this over on the NMScord, seems like a wordpress caching problem causes different users to see different dates. @YourBasicMaths and I didn’t check the robots.txt before this, so its likely serving the latest version to us which is the one in the screenshot above.
Strangely enough, @Batzy1683 got a generated date of May 16th, even earlier than that noted above.
I tried putting all the letters into the TOWER website url. It seems like most of them just leave you on the blue page, but /i takes you to a wordpress error screen, and more interestingly, /h redirects you to /2026/04/24/hello-world/ (Which is just another blue default screen)
I think that’s the default wordpress hello world page being served as p3 (not 100% sure), but I am adding this and some other stuff (DNS, robots, etc.) to my tracking daemon to find out what else is behind there and unpublished, etc.
Not sure if anyone else has noticed, yet, but it looks like @the_architect is trying to reconstruct the year 2016 specifically. 63/365 correlates with the number of dates we have for 2016, including the one we had from prior.
Perhaps we should try focusing our efforts on specific memories we had from that year, especially?
I updated the replied post with an additional monkey script for auto-entering known passwords (to save remembering them). You can easily add to it yourself as they pop up by adding new page and password pairs to var passwords.
We need all the extra brain juice we can wring out sometimes!
Did you ever have the experience at a restaurant banquet, when the waiters bring out the first few dishes, and you think “Oh, this looks good”, but then they bring more dishes - and more. And you get to the point where, with each new dish presented, you feel your appetite shrivel a little?
