Project skyscraper / no man's sky arg

I had a closer look on timestamps / unixtime (seconds from 1970) in “~ARG~” main site using this converter https://www.unixtimestamp.com/

They’re consistent with posts from this @Skyscraper_prj X(twitter) user starting as soon as 24 march 2026 (with heartbeat ever increasing, +2 or +3, from 46105 up to 46142). It’s like a sleeping entity is waking up, even dreaming of flower cloud (may 5th).

At the exception of 4 instances, (weird cause it is THAT precise -in seconds- and yet it diverges) on 6, 18, 25 and 28th of april. First ones could have been mistakes but not the last.

  • on april, 6th 1775456709=06:25:09 yet tweet states 06:25:10 +1
  • on april, 18th 1776519774=13:42:54 yet tweet states 13:42:55 +1
  • on april, 25th 1777157613=22:53:33 yet tweet states 22:53:34 +1
  • on april, 28th 1777370220=09:57:00 yet tweet states 09:57:07 +7

Other secondary tweets are reposts of

  • 16 years anniversary of humans in space station from NASA november 2nd, 2016
  • a Gothalion tweet (known streamer from NMS twitch drops) from 22nd june, 2016
  • an Athens pic (where is charly? vibes)
  • a Tesseract, a 4D object shadow-projected on 2D

So it seems it started on main website and X, then on Bluesky, then on our forums, then on reddit.

With hints of 2016, space, NASA, NMS twitch drops, 16 16 16 16. Only acropole picture stands out and there is a blocked missing-piece on Bluesky.
Today’s tweet is a Heavy rain reference, -no spoiler-, a game known for a glitch “Press X to Shaun (aka SEAN)”

Seems relatively professional to me. I don’t think it’s only one person behind it.

No Man’s Sky draws heavily on the religion and mythology of ancient Greece. I think the Parthenon is an entirely appropriate reference.

I’ve been having this problem for some time on Firefox. When I made enquiries, I was told that it isn’t Firefox that’s doing the conversion. Apparently the conversion happens server side with the CDN storing the image. WEBP images take up less bandwidth. It seems that there are premium photo storage services that will provide images in their original state - but you have to pay for these. These days, the majority ofl free picture storage and retrieval services convert to WEBP.

Speaking of twitch drop, There is a twitch . I don’t know how to share a link. Nothing on it but a link to blue bird and sky.

It seems there’s a great deal of effort and preparation gone into this. It makes the possibility of anything malicious less and less likely. It also reduces the chances we’re dealing with a single individual.

Lol. You beat me to it

I am talking about images actually being served a different filetype, the browser forces this conversion. So Firefox also appears to be doing this, it’s a shame! I understand webp is a popular new format (image container) and can be useful, but I should be be allowed to download the source format if present.

Not fond of Twitch, but still have my account because of NMS as well, so why not. Makes it all the more interesting for whatever might be planned.

Wow. That was a lot of reading to try & catch up on & I don’t feel any wiser.
I think I’ll be just sitting back & watching how this unfolds.

TL/DR: There’s a new ARG starting. Get popcorn.

Its definitely aware of us. XD

The red UNKNOWN_EXT3RNAL link points to this thread, specifically post #180.

Note the vector matches up to the link Sir_oops posted

I got to it by going to May.15, 2026 entry, clicking next twice.

Not sure if anyone saw it yet, if you did, appologies.

Ahhh. It has updated since this morning. The security breach is here

So congrats @Sir_oops

Good catch @BoomstickJoe

Also is anyone tracking these numbers? I got lost in the post by @Ekimo1920 but this one also has a 3 for an E and may count towards whatever we are adding up to…

Absolutely brilliant. They anticipated what we would do, and made us part of the game. Genius.

It took me some fiddling to get it to display. For those who are stuggling, here’s the link:

I bookmarked it and that seems to work well

You can easily tap Previous and Next to scroll thru all of the logs

This is good, once this gets going I will be lost likely. During waking titan I didn’t even know what a ARG was. Augmented reality glasses?

I think the blog is gone now. I checked Instagram, YouTube, Substack, Tiktok and LinkedIn(why not) too.

We should have took screen shots, directives partially exposed?

I believe these links that @toddumptious posted are different now. This and the jetpack made me think of WordPress. I should have commented and seen if it showed up on the website feed or reports.

Wasnt the previous number 4? is this a countdown?

Like each time we trigger something, it counts down?

Or not:

SECURITY LOG – project-skyscraper

Then the Tr4ce.jpg twice

Then UNKOWN_EXT3RNAL

Project Skyscraper was what Sean Murray and Grant Duncan called their pie-in-the-sky concept of a Procedural Generation game with seemless transition from planet to space and more. What started as off-site discussions and drawings on napkins eventually became No Man’s Sky.

Yeah. I know the feeling. Me no crypto nerd, but me love fruits of crypto nerds.

Go nerds!! :joy:

Just ran out of hearts. I loved following prior ARGs. I still have my paper “wheel” from a prior ARG.
