After using a portal to jump to a system, I find the portal sound will not turn off. Only aboard my Freighter and on the Anomaly does it stop.
I have warped to other systems. I have quit and restart. As long as I am in my ship or on a planet, the roaring of the portal is in my ears…

Have you tried using a portal to go somewhere else? It might knock it out of its loop when it triggers the sound again.
Sorry my ocean world has cursed you, I’ll throw up a portal for a nearby planet with an actual portal soon so nobody else suffers the irritating reality. Thanks Canarymyst 07b

Ok the portal sound has finally stopped after a 2nd restart. I may go back thru the same portal to the same location and see if it happens again
