Do you guys think it’s necessary to have a lot of photos from one city for the mark to show up in the map at all? Because I sent one a couple days ago, and there’s still nothing there. And my city is kind of small.
I hope my submission counts, even if the city doesn’t show up.
We are not sure, but the last Internal Memo we received as PDF, is clear about them not having expected this to be as successful as it turned out, so this may indicate that only one or a couple of images may have been enough. I am just speculating, there is no guarantee your city will show with more images provided as we do not know how they handle these or the map behind the scenes. I bet others are not having their city shown either, like me with 4 images. I do not think we have to worry about submissions not counting just based on the fact our city does not appear. If you are in doubt, or have more images, just send them in, I am sure it won’t hurt … besides giving them more work 
I was wondering if they may use these images, or a selection of them to form a picture like the ones back in the day (showing my age now) does anyone else know the ones I mean?

I am submitting photos that are in my County. I don’t live IN San Diego City Limits so I only know of places around me. I do visit San Diego city but am not familiar with the area. I have submitted images of places in San Diego city which are well-known. But I’ve also submitted images of percussive resonating objects located in towns in San Diego County. I name the images to identify their origins “Museum of Making Music - Carlsbad - San Diego County.jpg”
