Phase 2 working commands on

A place for working commands.
Working command being any that do not return,

Edit: A google document has been started see this thread:

Phase 2 topic 2.

Whois Results

“portals” or “portal” returns

The Traveller awoke beneath the shadow of a red star.
Through the lonely cosmos they fled,
yearning for purpose and meaning.
They found an anomaly, an aberration,
a door to the heavens. No Gek, no Vy’keen,
no Korvax could see it. Only the Traveller
could perceive the portal, though they
did not know how to step through.
They did not know the secret language,
the glyphs. They did not yet grasp
the price of the final truth.

“whois” returns
"whois registry loaded @ 21%"

“hello” returns
"process hibernating"

“whois atlas” returns

“All I know is this.
The Atlas had infinity to work with,
and with few exceptions, this triad repeats…
Gek, Korvax, Vy’keen. Gek, Korvax, Vy’keen.
Traders, warriors, scientists, all their stories
… ending in violence.
Think about it. How would the Atlas speak,
how it would cry for help? It would use
the only language it knew. It would speak
with life. It would create.”

I got an email. Starting on it now.

“help” returns
available commands include: list, start, seed
see documentation for a full list of commands and guidelines"

“list” returns

“start” returns
valid parameters not found

“seed” returns
error: system not initialized, cannot read dataset

“ship” returns

“whois traveller” returns

They do not respond with speech.
They transmit a vision,
a red star and a fragile world.
I do not understand the shapes within,
the whispers…
I see lifeforms scattered to the far reaches
of the galaxies. I see this stranger’s first breath,
yearning for the stars. I see myself, slumbering
in the crimson void, waiting for a dream of worlds.
And through the darkness, I hear it said…

“whois korvax” returns

But even in the depths of their subjugation,
there was hope. A bargain, a prayer to a greater being.
The Korvax viewed the Atlas as what they might
become in time: an intelligence beyond comprehension,
beyond judgement. I convulse as the Nanite Clusters
spill through my helmet. The Korvax watches me impassively.

“whois Vy’keen” returns

The Vy’keen tells me of their history,
of wars with the Gek, of Korvax slaves
and tyrannous empires. The Vy’keen suggests
that if the Atlas is a God, then it is insane.
I am about to leave when I notice something
on the Vy’keen’s terminal.
Two digits, blinking endlessly… they feel familiar.

So, i tried Portal but i could only see the second two paragraphs.

I dragged the mouse up, and moved the writing so i could see it, instead of moving the writing it came up with what looked like sound waves? Pic;

command: wake
answer: system not ready, cannot process wakeup command

guess thats where we wake up the titans

Since I see a lot of ppl repeat the same “new” commands or ask what valid commands to use where everyone already is in the main thread here: I figured I’d add all the new commands here in hopes some folks do read the small 15 answer topic before walking into that 1k+ firestorm. (And maybe keep that more readable.)

To get where everyone else is:
start atlas.init
start csd.init
seed 5020-7-8118.etarc
wake loop16
hello loop16

Interesting Commands:
before waking (also work after):
whois atlas
whois traveller
whois korvax
whois vy’keen
(whois gek appears to be missing)
wake – system not ready

ls (copy of list)
help (gives a list of commands)
clear (clears your screen)

after waking:
whois you
whois emily
whois etarc – (vigilant)
whois loop16
whois nmsportals – (erudite)
whois nomanshigh – (relaxed)
whois nomansskythegame – (devotion)
whois wakingtitan
whois nmsgalactichud – (exploration)
whois nms_zoology – (discovery)
whois nms_federation – (collaborative)
whois nomansskymods – (experimental)

Nice document from @gaabje123 -

start atlas.init
starting system…
integrity check in progress… done
validating config file… done
searching for updates… no updates found

welcome to atlas 0.16alpha

I noticed someone use whois, which is not in the code list. Anyone else find any working commands for the system?

The folks at GD seem to be have a nice page for the codes known so far
