I should have known. The Gek is having a meet up with a local Nip Nip dealer. There aren’t many reasons for wandering that far off the main road.

I actually forgot about my Gek… We’ll have to start putting out missing posters.
I found out the hard way today that the NMS Insert Coin Jacket is not water proof 
It’s also when I discovered it’s 100% polyester/hand wash only 
been a while since I had to hand wash some clothes but looking forward to it.

So @toddumptious , I went thru my email that confirmed my purchase and was able to have it send me a new link for order status. That gave me a link to the carrier bringing my plushie over from China
My Gek just set sail a few days ago…
poor guy. Hope he isn’t seasick
I also ordered a Traveller plushie. It only says confirmed. I assume this just confirms I have ordered it…maybe I will get it in time for the 10 year NMS anniversary
Now I know how settlers felt waiting for a letter from home c. 1792…

I know @DevilinPixy is also waiting on the Traveller which has not shipped, maybe it was the more popular item and has a larger manufacturing queue than the gek. Speaking of the little mite, he came knocking at my door this very morning.
Sackboy is delighted to finally have a friend
This particular sackboy is very unique and special, none of the official merch even came close to this standard which was a shame, because I wanted more sackboys. But the official merch was horrible plastic mold or just not shaped right in plush form.
Where did he come from? He was hand made by a family member of a Media Molecule Dev over a year before the game released.
YouTube was a new thing at the time, not freshly new but new in the sense it was becoming a legitimate place for companies to reach consumers.
Media Molecule just announced they were starting a YouTube page, and to get the initial wave of subs, offered free gifts to the first 100 people to sign up and send them a message (I don’t even think you can message a channel like this anymore? Or maybe it was an email with your address and a proof of sub? I can’t recall how they got our addresses tbh).
The first wave got these hand made sack boys and then I think they opened it up a bit so anyone after the initial surge got some badges sent out too.
A company giving away free stuff of high quality? Is that even done anymore? It feels like these days companies sell us the idea that we should be so lucky to join their elite tier subscriptions or have access to their products at all.
Long story short, this sackboy is never leaving me, I’ll be buried with it, it’s such a unique artefact
