I once ordered a tshirt off ebay from a company in the USA. I paid more than I should, particularly due to shipping costs but it was something I wanted & I rarely treat myself like this. It didn’t show up. There was no tracking. Just gone. Eventually, I filed for a refund (which was refused due to the time delay in contacting them ) & I shrugged it off & essentially forgot about it.
10 months later, the most bedraggled, scuffed & beaten post pack I have ever seen arrived. The words on the lable were so faded that pretty much only the barcode was visible. It was a testement to the durability of the post bag because it looked like it had done a world tour of every warzone on the planet but still remained mostly intact. Inside was my missing shirt, in pristine condition.

My Jacket still hasn’t landed in customs so no update on pricing there but I have eyes on my Gek.
I assumed it was coming from America with Tariffs in hand as they are a US company (yootooz) but I forgot Trumps stupid plan isn’t going to lure production home and pay people fairly any time soon, so American textile companies are still getting most their stuff produced in China 
Which is precisely where my Gek is sitting right now… Something tells me this is going to be a roundabout trip, I hope they packed some NipNip in there for the lil guy.

Also not sure the plush meets the price or weight threshold for paying extra vat or customs but I find those guidelines intentionally confusing and am never certain.

That’s just import customs from UK to Eurozone Eire… I can’t even begin to wonder where it would come to with Tariffs on top but you may have made a very wise decision @sheralmyst . I believe you can make your own and make it better too, putting all us other Travellers to shame for buying from the factory instead of the tailor.

I had estimated €40 in the worst case, so I guess it’s not too bad, knowing VAT was not included at the Insert Coin shop. It’s pretty close to what you got @toddumptious, but then again, we’re both not that far off from the non-euro UK.
I bet I’ll be happy with it, especially after seeing poser Kyle showing it off like that!
My Gek apparently prefers flying and went straight to Brussels, Belgium. I bet it’s going to make a stop at Amsterdam next to ‘chill’ for a couple of days.

The jackets in an An Post depot near my house waiting to be sorted for delivery some time today but I reckon if it doesn’t make the noon dispatch it’ll be tomorrow.
I tried gaining access but the guy on the gate wouldn’t let me in and I wasn’t able to scale the wall.
I said “Don’t you know who I am?” and pointed to the sleeve of my jacket before I realised I don’t have the jacket yet. As I turned to run I made sure to yell at the gates Guardian, “Are You Anomaly? Are you Traveller? Is it first? IS IT LAST?!”.
An Garda Siochana were nice enough to uncuff me so I could send this post out. They now offer digital means of contact as a form of “your one phone call”.

Yes, we are known for our impeccable desire to work and do the job right. 
While I love Fawlty towers, Irish characters in British sitcoms were usually there to be the butt of stereotypical jokes which only helped perpetuate the myth to British audiences. This is one of those love it but hate it moments for me but god damn I wish that O Reilly character was in this show more, fantastic actor.
Also wish this show got more than a season, but what we did get was iconic. Watched these episodes time and time again with my mam growing up between episodes of Only Fools and Horses.

On the subject of plushies, though not NMS related, I just got a notification about these…
140 for the pair. Now while they do look of fancier quality than your typical plush, especially that Luscious Lox with the Luscious Locks, I want to bring everyones attention the the Neck (that purple thing with the lily pads.).
Necks are green flat headed lizard guys with four eyes. This thing has a round head and is purple…
This is clearly a repurposed Barney The Dinosaur plushie and I can see no other evidence that says otherwise. I cannot stop laughing about it.

What is going on with this purple neck? Also it’s being sold as a pair with the Lox, you cannot buy them individually. Someone messed up when ordering from their supplier I think XD

I put my phone on a timer/burst shot and I really just want to share the photos where I’m mid blink but the jackets also blurry in those so they’re no good for their purpose.
