I was going to convince myself I don’t need to spend this much on a jacket for my favourite game that amounts to a varsity jacket with some patches. I’ve never spent more than thirty euro on a jacket in my life that wasn’t for a funeral or a wedding.
Then I saw the back… And the inlay… And the zip tag…
It would not let me complete the purchase because they claimed I was not cool enough to wear, let alone own, such a jacket.
I went out to the park and found a cool person, they were happy to complete the purchase for me but I had to throw in some of those Traveller pins on the house for the rental of their cool self.

What the hell was that, where did it come from?!?
Hints that at one point, fully voiced main story characters were on the cards? Or perhaps may be?
I think voiced dialogue would be an odd fit for a game where nobody’s actually speaking English. Telamon translating and putting on funny voices like a bed time story would fit though… That would be hilarious actually.
There was a lot of spoken word. A LOT. Gonna try transcribe it, see if it’s not already something (like a famous quote similar to death quotes or perhaps something the Atlas may have said at some point, I never did get much of their words.
Also, these mixes are beautiful, such a treat hearing them like this after hearing the game variations so much.
The version of Dashka on this record is a lot softer and smoother than the in game counterparts, absolutely adore it, favourite so far.

UPDATE: Sadly no download code with this apparently. Not sure why, out of our control unfortunately. You could contact Laced Records and ask them nicely, but dunno, they might just point you toward streaming service links. It is a pity that there isn’t a way to order the vinyl and then somehow grab the mp3s elsewhere on the internet without paying for them…
If I must choose a favorite I think it is Aporias. What a cool piece. It starts out with a sombre Castlevania style, then comes Laylaps? a sentinel for sure. It then travels into an electronic dubstep and finishes with a very sweeping orchestral style. Wonderful!
I know right? It was cheaper for me than the Plushie order and of course way cheaper than the jacket. And considering I’m A) Not cool enough to wear that jacket out in public and b) the plushie is just gonna sit there, it’s the one purchase I’ll probably get the most use out of Good value for money them giddy discs.

I got notice that I need to pay duties for my jacket. Already paid an arm and a leg for shipping. But the link they provided will not accept my order ID. Contacted them. No idea how much the duties are. May have to let it go…
Edit: the email was an error. I will have to pay duties AFTER it has shipped which means I won’t get a choice. Pay it or lose what I already paid …no refund…

Oh no that doesn’t sound fun. I must check mine because I never look at follow up emails from online purchases and assume it’s just spam for other products (even though I always untick all the things, there seems to be a mandatory invisible one now on every online storefront)
Oddly enough this morning was the first time I thought about the merch purchases in a while. I must have sensed your turmoil through the force or the gl455 or whatever psychic telephone service we’ve tapped into.
I should be okay with the jacket and vinyl, at most I’ll get UK custom charges but the plushie? If that ugly gek gets stopped by the department of war or whatever they have doing tarriff checks (makes as much sense as anything they do) they can keep it.
