This is for @temp
OK. This is not my own discovery, but the one I found used links to third party file hosting, and I’m not happy with that. So I’ve made my own pictures. Here goes:
You need to be at the fifth rendezvous. From there, head your ship into space, and open your galactic map.
Move your viewpoint until you are looking past the fifth rendezvous, towards the galactic centre (very bright light).
From that position, to your right, roughly 78 light years from the fifth rendezvous, you will see a star system callled “Iryugawa” or “The Atlas Calls”.
In my pictures, you can see an Atlas symbol - that’s because I’ve visited the place. You won’t see the symbol until you’ve been there.
Go there, and visit the Atlas station. That’s it.
If I can help any more, let me know.
Great! I still have an hour and a half wait for the download to finish. I’ll try Polo/Nada a last time to see if the patch changed anything and, if not, I’ll follow your instructions. Thanks again!
Alternatively, you might be able to locate this beacon on the Rendezvous 5 planet, activate/interact with it and then check the Galaxy Map
The trailer showed Normandy flying around (being summoned?) on the planet. Is that possible, or was that another player just getting their Normandy? It just warped in for me when I got the communicator (maybe I was looking away when it warped in ) but I never saw it move like a lot of players have said. Was it just my bad luck? Also, I wonder why we have both the dosimeter and beacons still available. I wonder what function they serve now.
From what I could gather, that is a scripted event, made to happen that way.
Aww man, just my bad luck to miss it huh
I kind of wish we could have it fly down to a planet, maybe help scout for buildings, resources etc? The trailer warp animation looked really awesome!
For those playing, make sure to save and update the game, as we just received a hotfix update:
I tried to get the right alignment but still couldn’t find the Atlas.
Was getting ready to try @DevilinPixy 's approach when the newest patch landed. That patch fixed it for me!
Thank you both!
