I think Carr just wanted to use that particular sentence. There is a lesser known, and pretty vulgar, usage for the term ‘collectible container’ that takes that to a whole other level.

I’m not sure what you mean by “being on that cashola”. We’re not an investor, we’re a (very minor) customer. As such it is highly unlikely that we will get advance notice of any amazon-internal decisions such as activating the death bots.
In fact, the first notice we got of the outage was that our stuff didn’t work anymore, which prompted a frantic 1.5 hour period of analyzing the issue, searching for possible causes, consulting our activity logs to see if any of us deployed some change somewhere that might possibly be causing this behaviour and trying to get information from AWS before we finally had the confirmation that yes, they did indeed have a major problem, and everything will probably go back to normal once they fixed it.
So it’s most likely that the first notice we’ll all get of the death bots being activated will be people getting killed by death bots.

Sadly they don’t much play political music on the general airwaves or promote independent artists cos it might harm a companies bottom line or cause a drop in listenership. NPR might be the only national station that does? I’m not so familiar with all the stations over there though.
Another song about beer, driving trucks and loving your grandmother? Let that record spin! Extra more if Jesus makes a cameo.
Did not know there was a general strike planned today but the one website/comedy show I pay a yearly sub to has joined the fray.

Is it possible you got him Pegrnant and he had this child in secret? I might have not paid much attention in Biology class. Born in 1992 so the timelines kinda add up if he stole your DNA and spent some time perfecting his test tube baby art.

Do I feel sorry for her? Yes and no.
She is a trophy wife. Her only job is to look good. It has to be a miserable job. I feel for the loss of her mother. She was likely the only real human contact she had.
But, she also knew what she was signing up for. She agreed to all of this. For the money? Perhaps. But with her mother gone, her son now stepping into the family “business” , she will soon be completely alone
When her looks fail, she will have nothing left but there is one thing in her favor. She will outlive him…so she may get the last laugh
