That’s my question as well…tough choices ahead…well not really because the update chopped the wings off my everyday ship
Also, the update is not out on Steam yet for the public?

I’m not sure. The release log has all the platforms shown. In the past when the ps4 update was a bit later than pc it would omit the ps4 icon.

I’d suggest using your least favourite ship (if you have a full collection) until this is clarified, just in case it swaps, like when buying or scrapping.

According to a youtube video I watched, its just like any ship so you have to exchange/accept it. However, you wont be forced to accept it when the time comes so you dont need to worry about scrapping a ship untill then.

Just a quick note: apparently we will need to identify all of the glyphs. The Hunter and The Sailor are 2 I know of thanks to @Matador. The sailor should be the boat. What about the Hunter?
Could someone create a list? Once we figure them out maybe we can pin it to the top post

WARNING: Some people on the Steam Forums decided to give away their Activated Eggs…not sure why anyone would do that. The mission is now broken. They can’t reactivate another egg. Giving away Void Eggs is fine, but do not give away an egg once it has begun to respond.

Lots of people playing localised versions are asking what these words like “veiled partner” mean… Turns out it was a badly translated"obscured companion" (the moon eclipse). And hunter for a bird, that only works if you think of falcons or eagles but the glyph looks like a dove. So if you see people asking for these, ask them in what language they were reading it.

I suspect it’s more the case that people who are playing illegal cracked copies of the game never got an egg in the first place - and now they’re finding they can’t make progress, so they want one of ours.
Of course, that could just be my nasty suspicious mind…

I had a duplication bug when transfering the egg from the ships inventory to my cargo inventory, and now I have a spare activated one. Mission for the other one is continuing so no worries, but I have no idea if I’ll ever be able to use the second one. Nor if I’d want to. I mean, having two living ships sounds a bit like managing two girl/boyfriends…

Hmmm. I’ve always thought of this as a fish, but on reflection and after the arrival of living ships, I think it looks more like a whale!
I’ve also thought that the first glyph was water/planet and the “insect” was a scarab. As long as the meaning is clear to all, anybody’s naming is good, I guess.
