MAINFAM System - Operator Space

Hey Operators!
A few (well, many notable names ) over on the NMScord side of MAINFAM floated the idea of claiming a lil slice of the Universe to commemorate this amazing community we’ve built together, and are considering moving this the system @Rinha discovered (which gave everyone watching a heart attack) using hex extracted from the GlitchingReality images way before they were properly used:

The planet Umus Alpha NED seems to be beautiful, green-grass, floating island world, and we’d love to see more people from MAINFAM join us in carving out this lil corner of the universe!

We’re considering renaming the system & planets with meme names from the #GlitchingReality image hex decode attempts.

I’m thinking “MAIN FAM” for the system name, and “NED”, “DEB”, “DAN” as planet names. Any input is welcome!

Having been a solitary NMS player except for the times I played with my dad or my kids, may I ask what is typical etiquette for something like this? Should one leave a comm ball (a polarizing subject), or build a base, or just show up and dance? (If there’s a planet-wide total base limit, we don’t want one of my sad bases taking up a spot. )

Build a base. Just make sure you are not too close to other bases.
Covettes seem to be an issue when building with others.
Have fun! There are floating islands to build on.

I’m also mostly a solo player, so don’t worry, you’re as much a part of “MAIN FAM” as anyone else!

Just come and build a small base -there’s a planet-wide uploaded part count (which is still quite generous), so don’t go too crazy, but there should be room for everyone. Don’t forget to upload!

Your base doesn’t have to be fancy, the important thing is taking part!
