Whoever is behind Project Skyscraper is seriously committed, and has poured a ton of time and resources into this. Their sticking around regardless of player turnout combined with a year of dedicated follow-up support is a huge long-term investment.
Add to the mix that we don’t know who they are, so there’s no recognition or notoriety, and the only ones who benefit from it are No Man’s Sky and its player base…
Make of it all what you will. But the basic maths point to very few culprits.
If it picks back up, the category will still be here.
I know many memories will be submitted once Cosmos lands. I’m sure it will bring many new adventures.
