So pretty recently I got a box of a bunch of plain Legos.

I decided to make it a little challenge to build anything I could directly from memory with only these Legos. Naturally, my mind instantly goes to No Man’s Sky, and I thought it would be cool to create this thread where I’d post some of the things I’ve made. If anyone else decides to do the same thing, don’t be afraid to post your builds here as well!

The first thing I created was a freighter while I was watching @damonnabru ‘s stream. I think it turned out ok, but not anything too special.

This one I built today I love. It was really hard trying to build the wings and body, with so little pieces available. I also love how I was able to get it color correct. The back part of the ship I tried to design like the first ship you ever get in the game. If you look right above the cockpit, it goes kinda “up” where there’s a little engine area. Pretty happy with how this one turned out!

Nice. I have a box of lego still from childhood. We had a few of the space sets and used to build our own custom ships.

This has inspired me. Need to break it out and make some NMS inspired scenes.

I am much into Legos aswell, as discussed a few months ago,if I have some time after work I’ll try and build something! Nice Thread!! :grin:

When we see what some people are able to do… wow!

If someone can build a freighter (with inside of course :slight_smile: ) I’ll be voiceless.

With LDD all the Lego pieces are usable (as far as I know). But time is another thing… 1600 hours for the 1st video above.

LEGO Fighter Class Ship

This is my own design for a fighter ship in No Mans Sky. I think it turned out pretty well, judgeing that it was my own design and I wasn’t looking at any pictures.
