An old video but news to me

More space suits need capes. For democracy!!!

I mean, I know space suits literally are inflated, but that chest looks… quite overly so.

It’s a mini airlock in the suit, I guess so the men could have their tea and crumpets handed to them. Tea time is of the utmost importance.

You may laugh, but you can directly correlate the growth of the British Empire with our adoption of a diet of tea and chips (french fries). You can also accurately chart out economic decline with the replacement of tea by coffee, and of chips by rice and pasta.

Tea stimulates the analytical powers of the intellectual - whereas coffee is the drink of choice for banana republics, and unstable third-world revolutionaries.

Right, right. Can’t have the cape without a bit of liber-tea! :joy:

This does not explain the popularity of the chinese takeaway 3-in-1. That has chips AND rice. Other than that, everything else you said is scientifically and historically sound

This leaves hope that there may yet be a ShipGoo002 through ShipGoo999 to discover. That’s a lot of new potential substances

I wasn’t sure whether this belonged in music or science and technology. Technology won.

There’s a band. They have music tracks, an online following, and a group photograph.

Then a spokesman quoted in Rolling Stone outs them as AI fakes.

Then Spotify says it’s actually the spokesman who’s an AI fake.

Then Spotify says the band’s Twitter account is a fake.

Confused? You will be…

Kinda funny. There is a game by that name on Steam and it is all about deception

Interesting NASA take from a few years back on the phenomenon elsewhere in the solar system.

As an aside - does anyone else think the narrator on this video is synthetic / AI? Sounds very dubious to me.

If it is AI, it has a much improved sense of rhythm and modulation. Let’s hope it is just a woman trying to enunciate clearly.

Not confused just yet, but it is getting harder by the day.
