Quick search on Simon De Buci shows there is a street called Rue De Buci in St. Germain, Paris.

There is an Atlas Cafe on Rue de Buci. You can see it here:

Good, quick find. However, is it solved? What are we meant to post here?

Is there some other item we need to bring into it?

There’s certainly got to be something up with that letter maybe… I can’t make out anything other than the name in lower right, and the word that lucks like “Bumble”.

Bumble BEE?! :eyes:

Here’s the menu from their website

Maybe you can order whatever it is and have it shipped over

Also here is their website…

@adsk46nkster below, that happens with the pdf link for some reason, the micsoroft login preview thing. :man_shrugging:

It looks like they are recommending something from the menu?

Website - https://www.latlas-paris.com/

I tried to directly link to the menus, but it comes up with a sharepoint login. I assume you can access them from the website, as I did.

Right place and right time with the Google-Fu. Appreciate the love and mentions. We’re all wandering this house together.

Their English Cocktail/Drinks menu is… not in english :joy:

Maybe that’s the puzzle. We have to call the cafe to let them know their online menu is bugged :stuck_out_tongue: Maybe the cafe has a Zendesk?

In other words, I got no real solutions for you guys.

The letter is for sure in French, from a Simon de Buet(?). Without removing the glitch/restoring the image fidelity, no easy way to translate much. Any chances we can translate the few words/lines we have here?

I think it’s Simon de Buci (as in the street’s name). He was the first President of the Parliament of Paris, in 1341, apparently.

Apparently Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir have lived on the street.

From: www.pariseater.com, who also recommends the Atlas.

PSA: Remember not to use AI to fix an image… It will, I repeat it ABSOLUTELY WILL… Steal the Muffin out of your Cappucino. Rebrand your company logo… AND Invent gibberish filler words that pass as french. And also… Will not help you.
