I have a sudden urge to feed it Auntie’s Choice slogans
It seems to have scraped the entire thread and then linked up any common “threads” (keywords, useage, callbacks etc)between conversations, the AI summary of the whole thread seems to mention posts from the beginning, middle and end of this 1680 post thread. Which is one of the longest going on the forum due to General Discussion tag not getting archived or refreshed with each major NMS update, so certainly one of the better places to test out its “memory”.
It doesn’t seem to know when people are talking about Sheralmysts birds though, in isolation it thinks people are waxing and waning poetically.
“In this context, ‘Bird 1’ symbolizes a moment of awakening or curiosity, where the bird becomes aware of the outside world and feels an urge to explore it—despite not fully understanding what “flying” means. The phrase humorously captures the idea of taking action based on instinct or emotion, even when the outcome is uncertain, reflecting a lighthearted and relatable journey of discovery and adventure.”
"That’s frizos FRIZOS we love FRIZOS! Frizos Spectrum VodkaaaAAA
What a great song! And now, a word from our sponsors!!"
I’ve been spending a lot of time with the Wireless in Outeworlds 2 lately. The Order have some interesting covers of Erik Satie’s Trois Gymnopedie I was pleasently surprised by.
FIGHT! To shop another day!
As opposed to “SHOP!!! To fight another day!” The slogan of your friendly military-industrial complex.
That’s essentially the theme of The Outer Worlds. An imagined future in which interplanetary colonisiation is largely in the hands of consumerist corporations - those, and a handful of the wealthier, more lunatic, religious cults.
The approach is generally humorous - but the underlying message is not.
It’s already November, where’s your consumer Christmas Spirit?
Xmas is what happens when the Order and Auntie Cleo unite.
I didn’t even know that was a ‘thing’.
I’m so old.
I knew the term, and I was aware of the type of person it described, but I didn’t know it was shorthand for “involuntarily celibate” ![]()
You’re not as old as me. But I have grandsons - and we play computer games, and talk about internet trends. It can be both enlightening, and quite scary. They can master the use of technology much faster than me, but they have almost zero understanding of how it actually works. As far as they’re concerned, a microprocessor might as well be a magic bean.
I find myself needing to use short, simple sentences with people in general. I am afraid AI-induced brain shrinkage will overtake the general populace in the next decade.
We certainly seem to be getting old, considering how much we complain about the younger generations! ![]()

So maybe we should commit a topic to this experience and start the experiment.
No 1 having a good look around but keeps going back inside
But No 5 keeps trying to get in on the action and it is not a fledgling yet. Still has fluff
1 and 3
Edit: the drama continues.
Bonnie and Clyde make the babies come to the door and reach out to be fed. They go in and push from behind. They jump out and fly across to various branches. They sing and chirp and do all they can to encourage No 1 to make that first step out.
So far, no success…
So close!
Edit: of course they waited until I was gone for the day to finally take the leap.
They grow up so fast ![]()
Onion Article Headline spotted in reality
I think ‘dead’ is the key word.
There’s an old joke about that, isn’t there? To borrow the punch line: “Well, she’s certainly dead now”.
