You know all those golf courses are just footholds for a maga invasion
The great Gopher replacement.
Are gophers still a mainstay on golf courses or was that just that one movie and it’s sequel?
In the U.S. we seem to give rats a name.
… usually for politicians! ![]()
Magats are consuming live flesh now!

A fun idea to ask that question. Are you satisfied with the result?
Sometimes you can rerun the same question and get alternative answers (for such creativity tasks anyway), did you try that?
The justifications sound arbitrary and like grasping at straws to me, it doesn’t have enough information and the two sets don’t match. I once asked ChatGPT what butterflies are called in different languages and the etymology of each word, thinking it would just sum up “known facts” from Wikipedia. Instead, it generated three different answers and each explanation was different… As in, it claimed different etymologies for the same words.
It didn’t know the answer, and just confidently made one up. ![]()
Has me wondering if trump has only seen Mercator map, hence the Greenland obsession ![]()
To be fair, etymology is more of a black art than a science, and even without AI, the “correct” derivation of many words depends on which expert you ask.
Most languages have a formal, written form - which tends to change little over time. They also have a conversational or vulgate form, which is the one people actually use day-to-day. The vulgate form changes a lot, and change can happen very rapidly.
Unfortunately, etymologists are limited to researching the formal, written sources - so they have little real idea what influences were actually shaping language. You only see the results when they get adopted into the formal, written lexicon.
I have no real knowledge of a Tarot deck. I think the general concept would be good but trying to match to Anomaly NPCs would likely require some “adjustments" in reasoning. ![]()
If you think that looks like a face, you should consider changing your makeup consultant.
It is the little muscles/clams in the paella. They do look like little heads with long black hair making the whole thing look like a huge hot tub party…which in a way, is kinda correct
My dad is working at the Oasis gigs last night and tonight in Dublin.
Meanwhile my sister is in the sitting room watching someone illegally streaming from within the gig and singing along to every song ![]()
Should I put this on and kick her out of the house? ![]()
You could always drag her to secret location, turn the spotlight on her and find out who her connection is.
Well, the water main is broken right where it runs to my water meter. Because it is so very hot and dry here, and the water is babbling like a brook, every animal in the area is drinking out of it….
No idea when anyone will come to fix it.
So no water.
Then the power went out…like, everywhere.
So no power.
Then I see I barely have Internet on my phone.
So no internet.
I have fallen off the grid.
Wondering how long it will take for this post to process through….
Here goes….
I was about to say it looks like faceless nuns bathing in a pond. Is this what they mean?
Did you survive the power outage? Did the thirsty animals survive?
