Anyone feel any different? I was hoping for a little bleedover so I went for the ‘improved’ galaxy…but I see Donald Trump is still here. Atlas let me down.
Anyway, I think I came really close to doing something amazingly dumb. If I had appeared in my new galaxy, pulled out my spare gun, summoned my spare ship, gone directly to the anomaly and teleported out to somewhere in Euclid, would I have been unable to get back to the new galaxy? I am thinking yes. It dawned on me as I was pulling up my bases on the anomaly teleporter that I had not landed on the space station. Anyone know if I am correct that without establishing that teleport link to the space station I would have no way back?
Can you visit a featured base that is in that galaxy?
If you put down a base computer, even without anything else being added, you could teleport back to it from anywhere.
I think the answer is yes. You need to have at least visited the Space Station. That way you could return to the previous system.
I do what @temp says and I put down BCs but I don’t actually build anything. Just rename the base something to show what it is marking. I have BCs in several galaxies.
So, I was teetering right on the brink of incredibly dumb. Good to know! 
I can tell you that it’s been sixty years and all of those buildings and roads are identical and still there
Heres a google street view of where the bus view starts in the video if you’d like to follow along and see what’s changed. Mostly store fronts and infrastructure upkeep/bike lanes.
(these roads were two-way back then, today they are one way lanes for access in and out of the city)

I think “will change beyond your wildest fears” may be more realistic in light of our government.
Maybe the economic turn will cause an increase in interest for the local arts and your new stall kicks off. A little PMA goes a long way. Pessimists making assumptions I believe it stands for.
I am considering returning to running a flea market booth. It would give me a place to sell without going thru someone elses red tape. And I enjoy reselling weird and interesting things. The flea markets explode with activity when shoppers go into hiding. I just need to decide if I want to stay local or head up the road to Hot Springs…
It’s years since I bought any fleas. By the time you’ve skinned them and removed the bones, there’s hardly anything left. You need an awful lot to make a decent meal.
Well fortunately, a lot is what you get when it comes to fleas.
And the ones that aren’t fit for eating, you train in arts and entertainment and make extra on the weekends with a flea circus.
