In the movie, there’s a film called “Ass”. It consists of some guy showing his backside. The audience think it’s hilarious.

It’s actually kind of terrifying because YouTube channels for kids and streaming platforms were not a thing or in its gestation period when this film came out.

Sort of. It’s a message that can pop up immediately in the expedition or a little while later, it’s one of the random ones from A Voice.
They post was a comic meme of someone pumping themselves up for a task, then seeing the message from the game, and being reduced to tears.

It does, because it shows that some of these people are actually highly intelligent. Have you read some of their explanations for natural pehnomena that seem to contradict a flat earth? They can get hilariously complex, and eventually, at some point, they run into a problem, but it still takes quite some intelligence to come up with this stuff (extending as far as mathematical models to explain sidereal motion of celestial bodies).
I really think intelligence isn’t our problem. Wisdom is, more likely (and as anybody should know that’s ever played D&D, the two are completely unrelated…)

I think theres an interesting venn diagram out there somewhere of Scientific Aptitude and an Extreme desire to be the first to discover something. Problems occur when that right sphere becomes too dominant.
In the middle is where you get things like Flat Earth scientists getting right up to the finish line and then doing mental gymnastics to avoid the fact they just proved themselves wrong. With Science.

If you don’t use all 3, there is no real benefit.

Competence is neither avoiding the bus, nor getting hit by it, but requires boarding the bus and actually going somewhere. Knowledge, understanding and wisdom are useless unless they lead to action in the real world.

Conspiracy are fun. I have dove down that rabbit hole too much. Mostly pre-pizza gate. Mostly to stretch thinking, see different view points. I consume it all as a skeptic. They are very clever at times. As of recent times they’re getting kind of scary and they feel like they’re being used for propaganda. I miss the whole q thing. Recently I’ve been seeing this mud flood theory and the whole tartarian thing. I always thought most of them were perpetuated by trolls. Actual trolls, you know big guys live under bridges, I am just kidding.
