It doesn’t look happy. I suppose that’s to be expected when you’re both alive and dead at the same time.

I think I just quit the internetz. :slightly_smiling_face:

But does anyone seriously not worry that what you posted is much closer to the truth? I’m constantly pushing aside my paranoia in order to access the web.

WARNING!!!
I mean, it’s South Park  Some may be offended by coarse language and the outright criticism of Meghan and Harry…

LEGO contacted me and said my VIP points were expiring. I never even checked them. So I checked. :face_with_spiral_eyes: I had enough points to pay for this set.

I didn’t even know adult lego existed. I’ve never seen it in this country. Specialist suppliers, maybe?

They are often modern architecture , motorcycles / racecars / trucks, expensive movie franchises …

I find them too hyperperfect. If I had built these models myself, I’d be proud, okay… But just following instructions precalculated by some optimised algorithm is … uninspiring?

Sheramyst, what made you choose this one, is it from a movie?

There once was something called Modulex I think. Not sure much came of it though.

It is part of a series. Put together they make a cozy little city scene with bookstores, vet, florist, etc…They are complex builds that take days to put together. I get a sense of calm and order by following the instructions. but I also wish I had designed them.

Now you’ve made me aware of it, I find you can actually buy a lego typewriter kit.

It’s the same size as an old portable typewriter. The keys can be pressed, the platten roller turns - it does everything - except you can’t type on it. That bit doesn’t work.

In the UK, it cost arounds £215.00 (probably $250.00).

30 years ago, I had a real portable typewriter. I paid £50.00 for it, and when word processors came along, I threw it out. Now they want £200.00 for a model that doesn’t even work.
