Getting a laugh out of life

I’ll let you know tomorrow.

This feels like the good old days of the internet or even the good old days of early youtube.

The kid as darth vader nearly taking a dive jumping down off the chair after a force choke is some of the best unintentional physical comedy I’ve seen in a long time

I love the shape of the deathstar hangar door, and the stormtrooper just randomly falling into a pit of death because there’s no railings!

I’m sure it’s no coincidence that that’s a French plane.

Love the looks of the basic one, and am actually very tempted. Just not sure I should, as that is quite a chunk of wallet for a C64 looking Communicator. Now if only it could ‘replicate’ too …

I am very tempted…but let’s see if I get my jacket (take 3) in one piece first.

My last one got here but was shredded… Caught in some contraption…:sob:. However, that does leave me with an extra set of patches…

I used to have Sailfish phones and C only switched when one broke and I couldn’t find a viable handset. I’m also tempted to go back with this one - even if I don’t use it 100% of the time ( I needed a browser yesterday so that’s my only reluctance).

I liked sailfish when I used it.

Just couldn’t let this headline go by:

I find this baffling.
Waffle House is a really good breakfast and one of the last affordable places to eat.
Here in the South, they are definitely used as a storm damage indicator. No matter how bad the storm, waffle house is almost always open. A good place to seek refuge in. The more people impacted by the storm, the larger the crowd.
If the waffle house is closed, the storm was really bad.
I have never seen a fight nor a drunk in any one I have ever been in.
Ham and cheese omelet with hashbrowns and a Mr Pibb please.

I wonder if this is time dependant? How often do you visit a Waffle House at 3am on Game Night. I would say that probably accounts for 90% of waffle house bust ups.

I don’t think its isolated to waffle house or america either, any food place that is 24 hours and adjacent to pubs in a city, will have these occurences. The 24 hour mcdonalds in Dublin, I definitely witnessed a few drunken brawls in my late teens/early 20s. I think it’s just funnier when it is a waffle house and therefore makes for good viral spread.

Especially for me, because over here if someones drunk and talking nonsense/getting aggro, we might say “he was talking absolute waffle”. The phrase pre-dates our knowledge of Waffle House existence btw.

You’re making too much of it. The attraction was in the bizarre poetry of the headline:

“An Indestructible Fortress of Violence and Syrup”

'nuff said.
