When on your own plot (where you can build a house, set up crafting, etc., press H. That will give you an overhead view of your plot. Top center it should show Default Slot. Click on that and the dropdown will show New Slot. Click on New Slot and the new layout will show (exactly as laid out in Default Slot) but the house, tent, garden, equipment, etc. will be gone. It used to be that you could build extra chests in your Default Slot, place them in your New Slot and then that would increase your storage in both Slots. Eight chests in Default Slot plus Eight chests in New Slot equal 16 chests. Same for the Lockboxes - three plus three equals six.
If you put one chest on the New Slot land then you could at least access all your storage items.
It would be nice if the developers could use the mailbox system to send out maintenance notices.
Before Echoes came out I was working on building Riften on my server for Valheim. Just doing the basic blocking for the buildings first with ornamentation etc to be applied after along with polish.
This is as far as I’ve gotten (might be a while before I get back to it with BG3 still to contend with and now Echoes), have castle to finish, the mead stores/docks and the walls have yet to be built.

Just found out I have company coming for the weekend… If people only knew the high quality of clean I require of my house before company arrives. I think I will break with my tradition and build my PC instead. It is time for change. I have spoken. Sorry company. You will be getting the Monday quick cleanup.
Its probably the extras. This was an art book thing or something…dunno really didn’t pay attention. Just this way I can buy the disc version later cheap lol (if I like it enough) and already have the 1st expansion paid for.

Late evening the day before yesterday I got a phone call telling me there was a small family emergency, and could I look after the Grandchildren yesterday?
Of course I did, so I was out all day yesterday, and didn’t get back until late. I’ll be out again today for most of the day. Not sure about tomorrow yet. The best laid plans…
I did get a couple of hours of Starfield before bed. So far, all I can say is that it’s pretty, and it’s confusing. Space combat, in particular, seems to require three hands. It wants me to use the WASD keys, the arrow keys (which are on the other side of the keyboard), and the mouse, all at the same time. I’m sure it’s just because I’m not used to the new control system.
As I said, I won’t be here for most of today. More when family crisis allows.
only played couple hours…to me its Fallout 4 in space… Animation is okay…still feels off. Looting is back to grabbing everything not nailed down. Needs Mini Map desperately. Scanner sucks. UI not great. 3rd person running seems like your running underwater…alot of effort…hardly moving…feels really odd.
My 2014 PC was not repairable. I now have a new one and am playing Palia. Thank you to everyone that posted about it. I really like it. In current MMO games it is second only to No Man’s Sky. If anyone wishes to add me as a friend let me know.
Not Video Game…but damn Disney Lorcana is pissing me off lol…Never live in a small town with one game store that decides to pass on buying any Merch…Ebay shipping from US to Canada is painful … and scalpers prices suck. Managed to get some product, but its sucks not being able to just buy at retail prices.
Thankfully I am just 70 miles from an town that still has a GameStop and several comic book stores that carry things like the cards. Had never heard of the Disney cards. The last time I collected was during the Star Wars remakes. My brother and me and some of his friends played quite a lot. It was fun. Finally donated my cards to a worthy cause and sold a few of the really rare ones.
Nice! I contacted about every game store within an hour of me, no preorders, no stock, and if they had stock 2-3x MSRP…no better than scalpers. I mainly order stuff from a store in Ontario and have it shipped. Even they inflated prices on limited preorders that bots attacked in less than 2 minutes. Really feel bad for the actual kids that wanted to play this, as it has ben a complete and avoidable disaster.
I noticed it is not even in stock on Disney’s site. It is getting where bots snatch up stuff so fast, there’s no point in even trying. That is why I just got a PS5 in the last couple of months.
My feelings on Starfield so far…Mass Effect. Enjoying every second so far. Not sure about the slow start I keep hearing about. I stepped right into learning the basics then battle then flying a ship and nav in space. Busted up a few pirates, stuffed my pockets with so much useless junk, sold it all at my first real settlement visit and bought myself some nice duds. Signed up as a security guard so I could get into places I should not be and pursuaded a guy to come aboard as crew at cut rate. Took a tired looking cleaning woman a cup of coffee and toured a museum about the end of earth. All in all, it was a good first day.
