Years ago I went on a training course. For the icebreaker, they taught us all to count fron one to ten in Japanese. I have absolutely no idea why, and “Itchy knee…” is still stuck in my head.

As I was watching that I was thinking how Myst-like it was. 
Then I saw the CYAN logo and remembered that they were working on Firmament. Thanks for posting that.

They swear this game has no connection to Myst but, at the end, you see the Keeper’s Together sign. And for their Kickstarter campaign they had a video with someone very much like Yeesha. When Ubisoft dropped Cyan back when, we were assured that all Myst lore was being held by a Keeper…it would not be lost…so many are not convinced there is no connection.

HOGWARTS LEGACY.
Was given this game & after waiting an eternity for the update to ‘calculate’ & eventually instal (PS5), I was finally able to jump in.
What a beautiful game.
The attention to detail & the variety of decor in the world is incredible. Truly is the prettiest game Ive ever played.
I’m in ‘Story Mode’ at the moment as I really want to explore this virtual world without excessive biffo. For anyone who is a fan of the franchise there is a lot there to discover.
The interface isnt overly complicated but there is a fair bit to learn so I’m going slow.
Character creation is reasonably detailed & you play in 3rd person.
My favourite part so far is that they managed to capture the same smile-inducing childish wonder that the early movies had, plus for the full-on fans who read the books, much that was never seen in the movies is there to be discovered. (I didn’t read the books but have been informed of this by one of my kids who did).
So far, very happy.

I mentioned a while back that I was considering Hogwarts Legacy as a filler while I wait for Starfield.
You just bumped it up my wish list.

I recently completed Hogwarts Legacy (platinum trophy.) Everything about this game is great. I highly recommend it. It felt like Dragon Age mixed with Assassin’s Creed with gameplay, but the Wizarding World we have been waiting to experience.
The one criticism I have is that the location of a few things in the castle do not match the book or movies at times (i.e. the gamekeeper’s cottage not being at the end of the forbidden forest and the entrance to the chamber of secrets is in the dungeons instead of 1st floor in the book/ second floor in the movie.)

I am so sold on this!
I happen to be of the opinion that animated musicals are the bestest things ever invented by the entertainment industry, and also of the opinion that there’s far, far too few of them, so… yeah, it won’t be fully animated, and I have no idea how the interactivity is going to work out, but there’s no way I’m passing this up.

I know. If you say “this is a joke”, it stops being a joke.
I will often write something I think is humorous - then I look at it, and think “ooh - that could be misinterpreted - people might take it seriously, and be offended”.
So then I think about putting smiley faces in it - then I realise that if I do, it won’t be funny any more.
