That’s been my thought since this thing started. I keep imagining this sequence:
-
Expedition saves game file configuration, then changes some files.
-
Update changes game files again.
-
Expedition ends, and reverts some files back to pre-update configuration.
There’s lots of opportunity for chaos in there.

Yes, the news page wasn’t updated to include the Cursed expedition. HG aren’t very good at maintaining their website.

I was half expecting a revisit to the planetside POI’s and maybe some new additions with worlds part 2, seemed a good time to tackle it.
I wasn’t expecting a complete overhaul to terrain generation in the new systems though or entirely new planet types so this seems more than a fair trade.
I do expect that POI’s will have their turn some day though, so it’s something I can continue to speculate on, which is its own little form of fun 
I think planetside “dungeons” similar to derelict freighters has been on the wish list of a lot of people for a long time, the ruined civilization planets seem perfect for some booby trap Indiana Jones style fun

A divining rod would be nice in a future update 
Theres no way to tell from orbit if a gas giant has water, or where it might even be so for now ease of discovery will mostly come down to luck.
Has anyone stumbled upon water on a gas giant yet? There’s new fish to be caught there but I’m starting to think it’s a myth
