Looks like HG is trying hard to preserve patch numbers.

yup…4.0 is an important update, history of the big number change has always been a very impressive update…this one has been 2 years coming…in fairness though a lot of this is going to be making other platforms work. But I am expecting good things myself…

Think the most logical next focus is stations.

Yea. The feature I feel most confident in that will be included is: an update to stations in some form. Several things keep suggesting that its coming soon.

Also, new “main” story content is the second thing I feel is coming due to the fact that expeditions have been HG’s fun and clever way to show us around the new update content so if they keep with that method then they may have a new main story that includes the new features.

Interesting… A small, 41.6 MB patch just went straight from internal to public on Steam without going through experimental. Looks like HG missed something critical in patch 3.95 :person_shrugging:

Yes, noticed the same, updating both experimental and public branch at the same time to a ‘new’ build. Must be some hotfix. Waiting on Patch Notes

Have they dropped any hints about what 4.0 will be about?

Nothing I have seen or heard.

About the only hints we ever get are emojis, and they always have us spinning with notions. Which is festive. And on occasion, some rough images or a glitchy video which is even more fun.

god I would love some glitch video hints…longest not quite 2 months ever

Im not a big fan of teasers for games/movies that are set to release years later… But I love teasers when the release is less than a month out. Most teasers leave you waiting for wayyyy too long.

I do hope we get more than just an emoji though.
